My niece told me as I advised her to ask her mom for guidance sa activities ng book.
I felt sad, not just for her nor for her parents. I felt sad kasi alam ko hindi siya nag-iisa. Na marami pang bata ang makakasambit ng parehong mga salita dahil sa mga "Martha" na magulang.
Her words echoed the sadness of a child missing out on valuable time with her guardian. 😔
Hindi ko sinisisi ang mga parents na kumakayod para sa mga anak. O mga magulang na nag-aayos at nag-aasikaso ng mga gawaing bahay para komportable ang mga bata.
Pero tanong lang mi...

Are they prepared for the life ahead of them? Will their hearts endure what the society showcases to them na hindi na alinsunod sa morals natin? 🥲
I somehow know the feeling of this child, because I've been there.
Life is difficult when nobody taught you how to navigate unknown lands. You were only told to go on. 🥺
Mga pare't mare, don't let your child feel and utter those words. Journey with them personally. Himdi yung tipong isasama nyo lang sya sa grocery o sapark ay okay na.
While you do it, lit up conversation to ponder on. ✅
Yes, busy ka sa mga gawain, mas mabuting tumulong nlang sila.
Pero let me remind you, time flies and doesn't come back! What they learn today, dadalhin nila hanggang pagtanda. ✅
So make the most of it,
MAKE TIME to encounter what is truly in their hearts. 🥹
My niece and my young self are my inspiration why I am promoting this book, ABCs of Life Skills. Because time and childhood are valuable things that need encounters and journeying. It's a time that builds character and somehow defines adulthood. 😌
