We are inviting everyone to join our Chess Tournament for a Cause on

Date: May 23, 2026
Time: 9:00am
Venue: Hon Marciano Mapanoo Park ( infront of Carmona City Hall)
Format: Rapid (15+3), 7 Rounds Swiss

Registration Fee:
Open: 400
Kiddies (U12): 300

✅ Proceeds will be donated to Matthew Paul Llanillo who has been recently diagnosed with Cancer. He is currently battling metastatic spindle cell malignancy and is undergoing chemotherapy.

Additional donations are welcome upon registration, and any added amount will go directly to Matthew Paul Llanillo.

This tournament is organized to help support the chemotherapy medication of our chessmate, Matthew Paul Llanillo. Every game played is a step toward improving his medical health condition.

Let’s come together as one chess community, playing not just to win, but to make a difference.

We regret to inform you that our 4x4 Team Tournament for a Cause will re- rescheduled, updates will be posted soon.

With the same purpose that we could extend financial support to our chessmate Kuya Paul, we will still have tournament for a cause on the same date May 23 9am with an Individual Tournament set up for Open and Kiddie Category.

Again, we deeply apologize for the sudden changes. We hope to still see you on May 23 as we gather together, not just to win but to make a difference.
