Game Flow and Scoring System:
Preliminary Round
1. A match consists of 1 game. A coin toss is used to decide which side will serve first. There will be a change court when one of the team scores reaches 16. First to score 31 points will be declared as the winner. Strictly NO SLIDES. The winner will proceed to the winner’s bracket and the other team will proceed to the Loser’s Bracket.
Semi-Finals and Final
The remaining 3 teams shall be declared as the semifinalist. 21 points scoring system, best of 3. A change court in every after set. Slide of two is allowed during tie breaking match point.
Rules and regulations:
1.In terms of serving, at the beginning of the game when the score is 0-0 or if the server’s score is even, they will serve from the right service court. However, when the server’s score is odd, they will serve from the left service court.
2.The rally is over once the shuttlecock contacts the floor, does not return over the net, or lands outside the court lines.
3. Players must wait for the Shuttlecock to cross the net before playing a shot, and while you can follow through over it, touching the net with your body or racket results in a point being conceded.
4. In serving the shuttlecock must be hit below waist height, with players serving diagonally into their opponent’s service box.
