Crazy Strong started as my story as an athlete.

It was just me in 2018— chasing races, pushing limits, falling down and getting back up.

Then people started joining. Training together. Racing together. Believing in themselves in ways they never had before.

And Crazy Strong became more than me.
It became a team.
A movement.
A community held by integrity, camaraderie, and people doing the work to better themselves.

But somewhere in that growth, I faded into the background.
Crazy Strong became more of a “brand,” and less of the raw, personal story it was born from.

This chapter?
It’s me stepping back in— fully.
Athlete. Coach. Storyteller.

Because Crazy Strong has always been personal.
And it’s time to share that fire with you again.

I didn’t train for my first Spartan Race. (not proud of that and I don’t recommend!!😅)

My background was CrossFit, climbing, and a bit of running. I was already badass and kinda strong so I thought, “It’s just 5K, maybe an hour max.”

Reality check: it took me 2 hours 16mins.
I was so humbled 😂
I was muddy, bruised, and questioning everything.

I crushed the obstacles (except spear throw, of course 🙃) but the trails wrecked me. My legs cramped so badly before the fire jump I almost didn’t make it across.

And yet… crossing that finish line lit a fire in me I couldn’t turn off. 🤨

That one race took me from “accidental” Spartan to my first Trifecta in just 3 months. I even ran Elite with zero expectations— and somehow finished Top 6 in the Southeast Asia Series 2018. 🥴🎉

That race didn’t just make me an athlete.
It showed me a version of myself I didn’t know existed.
And it planted the seed for Crazy Strong. 🔥

And in this next chapter,
it’s me coming back to the raw beginning.
The grit. The fire. The story that started it all.

And I’m taking you with me.

Because the finish line isn’t just about the race, the medals, or the podium—
It’s about who you become in the process.

Can’t wait to share what’s next.
Keep your eyes peeled .. 👀

✨ A shift is happening. ✨

And it’s happening now.
Bigger than racing. Bigger than training. Bigger than performance.

It’s about what unfolds when you decide to show up fully as YOU—
Unapologetic. Relentless. Stronger than ever.

This is HOW I built Crazy Strong— by pushing past my own limits and meeting versions of myself I didn’t know existed.

And this is WHY I built Crazy Strong— to invite you into that same journey of discovering just how strong you really are.
**Spoiler— more than you can imagine 😏

We’re entering a new chapter—
more raw, more real, more connected.
This is just the beginning.

Be part of the movement. 🔥

It was about the PEOPLE.

The crazy ones who trained. Who showed up. Who gave it everything. Who raced with grit, heart, and integrity.

If you’ve been following JC’s journey, you know—this podium wasn’t handed to him.
It was earned. Through 15-hour work shifts. Through medical challenges. Through showing up for himself, even when life made it almost impossible.

From 6th… to 4th… to 3rd… and now 2nd.
Slowly but surely climbing up the leaderboard—not because it was easy, but because he refused to quit.

And what makes this even sweeter?
He did it the right way.
No shortcuts. No cutting corners. Playing fair. Racing with integrity. Earning every single placement the honest way.

JC’s story is a masterclass in what happens when you combine discipline, humility, and an unshakable commitment to growth.

When training needed to shift—he adjusted.
When recovery had to take priority—he listened.
When life threw chaos his way—he still showed up.

This isn’t just about physical strength.
It’s about the mental toughness to trust the process…
To keep moving even when progress feels slow…
And to remember that the only competition that really matters—is the one with yourself.

This podium? Just the cherry on top.
The best part? We’re not done yet.

‘Grats ulit, JC! Salamat sa tiwala.
Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.
You are CRAZY STRONG.
Let’s keep climbing. 💪🔥🏆

I’m not here to compete with anyone.
Competing with my own body— my mental health, hormonal hell, and (chronic) period pains— is already a full-time job.

And honestly? I’m just grateful to be here.
Grateful to race.
Grateful to feel strong in my body again.

No, I’m not coming for anyone.
I’m coming for myself.

For the version of me who used to feel like her body was her biggest obstacle.
For the version of me who felt broken, exhausted, and questioned if she could ever feel strong again.
For the version of me who still wakes up some days doubting if she has it in her— physically, mentally, emotionally.

I race for her.
I train for her.
I show up for her.

Because winning doesn’t always mean standing on a podium.
Sometimes, winning means being able to move, breathe, and exist in your body without pain.

Sometimes, it means showing up anyway— even when it’s hard, even when it hurts, even when no one understands what you’re fighting against.

This is for me.
For every part of me that didn’t quit.

And to anyone who’s fighting silent battles— you are not weak. You are not behind. You are not broken.
And you are never alone.
You are powerful beyond measure. 💥

I’ll see you at the finish line 🏁

Training with JC has been quite the ride.

With medical conditions, 15-hour work shifts, and a long list of personal goals… recovery was often compromised.
It took a whole new level of coaching, adjusting, and communicating to get him to the level of fitness he’s at now.

But one thing about JC— he is motivated and faithful to his goals.

Even when life gets chaotic, he shows up.
Even when the plan had to be adjusted, he trusted the process.

And like many athletes who demand excellence from themselves…
Sometimes he’s his own harshest critic.
Sometimes, he gets so caught up chasing the “next level” that he forgets how far he’s already come.

But part of his growth now isn’t just physical—
it’s learning to give himself more credit. 💯

Because progress isn’t always loud.
It’s not always a PR.
It’s not always a finish line.

Sometimes, it’s choosing discipline over comfort.
Sometimes, it’s dragging yourself to train after a 15-hour shift.
Sometimes, it’s learning when to push and when to pull back.
Sometimes, it’s choosing recovery even when your hustle mindset tells you otherwise.

And JC has been doing exactly that.
He’s learning that longevity matters just as much as intensity.
That consistency beats perfection— every single time.

This version of JC?
Stronger. Fitter. More resilient. And so much wiser in how he approaches both life and training.

The work’s not done.
The journey’s not over.
But the progress?
🔥 It’s real and it’s here.

We’re just getting started. 💪🏼

Let’s go, JC. You are CRAZY STRONG. 🏆🔥

Ryanne came to me 4 months ago with specific goals in mind. She showed up at the exact time I was manifesting a female competitive athlete.

It’s exactly the kind of coaching relationship I had wished for— she’s decisive, driven, and fully committed to the plan laid out for her.

But not just blindly following— she took the time to understand why.
Why certain sessions matter. Why specific movements are programmed.

She took full ownership of her journey— collaborating with me on her training, being deliberate with her updates on intensity, recovery, nutrition, and race plans.

She showed up. Day in. Day out.

In short—
SHE 👏 DID 👏 THE 👏 WORK.

And today, that work gets put to the test.

For herself.

To see how far she’s come.
To see what she’s made of.
To prove to HERSELF that she’s capable of so much more than she ever thought possible.
To show up for the version of her who committed to this months ago.
To meet the edge of her limits— and push past it.
To honor every single early morning, every grind, every choice to stay disciplined— even when no one was watching.

Because that’s what this is about.
It’s not given.
It’s EARNED.

Every rep. Every run. Every recovery day.
Every hard conversation with herself.

Today, she cashes in on all of it. 💥🔥

Let’s go, RYANNE.
You are CRAZY STRONG. 💪🏽🏆

🚨 Tomorrow at 7:45 AM UAE time 🚨 will run the biggest race of his life: THE Spartan Race AG World Championships 🔥

Just four months ago, we floated the idea—“What if we could send Erl to Abu Dhabi to race?” It felt like a far-off dream, but we sat down, brainstormed, and laid out every possible way to make it happen.

And •he• made it happen.

Every ounce of support, every opportunity that’s come his way—he’s earned it.

As his coach, I can’t help but get emotional looking back at the past 15 months of hard work and growth.

I’ve witnessed him struggle, persevere, and show up consistently, no matter the challenges thrown his way.

Watching Erl evolve—not just as an athlete but as a person—has been mind-blowing.

His tolerance for pain is unmatched, and his resilience is truly remarkable. This is why coaching him has been such a privilege.

He doesn’t just show up; he shows up with everything he’s got.

8 podiums.
2 APAC Championships.
And now, just hours away from the biggest race of his life.

People tell me, “You’re lucky to have Erl—he’s so gifted.”
Sure, I’m lucky to coach him, but not because he’s gifted.

It’s because he’s the hardest-working athlete I’ve ever met.

Those 8 podiums? Those 2 APAC championships?
They aren’t just medals.

They’re proof of his hard work, resilience, ability to listen, and his unwavering dedication to the process.

Tomorrow, Erl runs for himself, for everything he’s worked for, and for everyone who’s supported him along the way.
Join me in sending him off to that start line.

You got this, Erl !!!
You’ve already won. 🖤

Let’s goooo!!! 🔥
Aroo!
