Mental toughness.

I’ve coached hundreds of athletes— from complete beginners to highly competitive racers who have stood on podiums multiple times

And one of the first things we teach them is how to develop the mindset of a high-performing athlete.

One of my favorite questions is:
“How much pain are you willing to endure to stand on that podium?”

Because racing is never painless.

It doesn’t matter how much you’ve trained or how many years you’ve been doing this. At some point, every athlete hurts.

Everyone is racing the same course.
Under the same weather.
Facing the same obstacles.

And the athletes who come out on top are
đŸ”„ the ones who refuse to back down when pain arrives
đŸ”„ the ones who keep moving when their body starts negotiating
đŸ”„ the ones who understand that pain is temporary

Because at some point, every athlete is hurting.

And when that moment comes, it doesn’t eliminate the competition— it reveals them.

So the real question is:
Who are you when the pain arrives? 😌

I built Crazy Strong with no blueprint
and somehow, it became a team, a community, and a space where people level up— HARD. ( and if you know the people we’ve trained, you know what I mean )

Honestly, it still blows my mind sometimes đŸ˜…đŸ„ŽđŸ”„

So. This is your invitation.
You’re welcome to join our team.

Send me a DM— let’s talk about your racing goals,
whether it’s Spartan, road, or trail.

Open to beginners and competitive athletes.

Crazy Strong started as my story as an athlete.

It was just me in 2018— chasing races, pushing limits, falling down and getting back up.

Then people started joining. Training together. Racing together. Believing in themselves in ways they never had before.

And Crazy Strong became more than me.
It became a team.
A movement.
A community held by integrity, camaraderie, and people doing the work to better themselves.

But somewhere in that growth, I faded into the background.
Crazy Strong became more of a “brand,” and less of the raw, personal story it was born from.

This chapter?
It’s me stepping back in— fully.
Athlete. Coach. Storyteller.

Because Crazy Strong has always been personal.
And it’s time to share that fire with you again.

I didn’t train for my first Spartan Race. (not proud of that and I don’t recommend!!😅)

My background was CrossFit, climbing, and a bit of running. I was already badass and kinda strong so I thought, “It’s just 5K, maybe an hour max.”

Reality check: it took me 2 hours 16mins.
I was so humbled 😂
I was muddy, bruised, and questioning everything.

I crushed the obstacles (except spear throw, of course 🙃) but the trails wrecked me. My legs cramped so badly before the fire jump I almost didn’t make it across.

And yet
crossing that finish line lit a fire in me I couldn’t turn off. đŸ€š

That one race took me from “accidental” Spartan to my first Trifecta in just 3 months. I even ran Elite with zero expectations— and somehow finished Top 6 in the Southeast Asia Series 2018. đŸ„ŽđŸŽ‰

That race didn’t just make me an athlete.
It showed me a version of myself I didn’t know existed.
And it planted the seed for Crazy Strong. đŸ”„

And in this next chapter,
it’s me coming back to the raw beginning.
The grit. The fire. The story that started it all.

And I’m taking you with me.

Because the finish line isn’t just about the race, the medals, or the podium—
It’s about who you become in the process.

Can’t wait to share what’s next.
Keep your eyes peeled .. 👀
