Congratulations to our homegrown black belt, Tachiana Mangin,, for winning a gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games held in Thailand today! She triumphed in both rounds against competitors from Laos, Indonesia, and the host country, Thailand. The RTA Taekwondo Family is incredibly proud of your achievement! 🥇🇵🇭💪

At 18 years of age, Tachiana Mangin is continuously carving out a name in the world taekwondo – this time winning her first-ever gold in the Women’s -49kg Kyorugi at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.

Tachiana is also the first Filipina to win a gold medal in the World Junior Taekwondo Championships, last year.

The RTA Taekwondo team is proud to be a member of the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA), the sole recognized National Sports Authority (NSA) for Taekwondo in the Philippines. There are no other official Taekwondo organizations in the country.
