Sometimes the saddest thing isn’t pain.
It’s getting used to it.
Getting used to disappointment.
Getting used to loneliness.
Getting used to carrying everything by yourself.
Until one day, “Okay lang” becomes automatic.
Not because you’re healed.
Because you’ve become familiar with the hurt.
But familiar pain is still pain.
And being used to something doesn’t mean it’s healthy.
