The Calauan Chess Society is proud to have participated in the PSC-NCFP Barangay Chess Program Tournament organized by the Bay Chess Club, held at Laguna Science Integrated High School, Brgy. Puypuy, Bay, Laguna.

We are thrilled to share that our players brought home multiple awards:

Just had a meaningful and memorable experience competing against strong players from different municipalities at the '64 Squares Chess Tambayan Tournament! Grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an enjoyable community, meet new people who share the same love for chess, and grow together through every match.

Warmest congratulations as well to Jhon Lhimber Mejia for being the Top Junior! Your achievement inspires us to keep improving and strive for even greater milestones in the future. More accomplishments ahead!

CALAUAN CHESS SOCIETY — PRACTICE SESSION

The Calauan Chess Society once again gathered for another meaningful chess practice session yesterday, April 19, 2026, at The Sisters of the Child Jesus School Inc., Calauan, Laguna.

From our youngest beginners to our most experienced players, every board tells a story of determination, discipline, and love for the game. It is truly heartwarming to witness our community come together in the spirit of chess.

We are sincerely grateful to The Sisters of the Child Jesus School Inc. for their unwavering support and for providing us with a wonderful space to grow and develop our players.

Our dedicated players continue to sharpen their skills, deepen their strategic thinking, and strengthen their passion for the game. Just wrapped up an amazing chess training session with the team! It wasn’t just about winning or losing, it was about understanding the game on a deeper level, supporting one another, and growing stronger together.

All players came together to play, learn, and enjoy the game. It’s great to see kids, teens, and adults sharing the board and improving together.
