Fourteen-year-old Xian Felina Bernardino of Lourdes CollegeโIntegrated Basic Education Department (LC-IBED) shot her way to a first runner-up finish in the Womenโs Under-17 Barebow category of the PSCโWAP Philippine National Archery Championship Qualifier Leg 3 at Tionko Football Field in Ecoland, Davao City, on August 18, 2026.
Bernardino demonstrated precision, composure, and consistency as she faced the pressure of competitive archery. Each carefully released arrow reflected the discipline and determination she had developed through dedicated training.
Her adviser, Mr. Stephan Petalcorin, expressed pride in Bernardino and her remarkable achievement, which brought honor to the entire LC-IBED community.
With her bow in hand and her eyes fixed firmly on the target, Bernardino proved that success begins with focusโand every determined shot can bring an athlete closer to victory.
