Braveheart Dragonboat Team's Remarkable Performance at the 1st Diyandi Festival DragonBoat Race

Despite having less than two weeks of preparation and a crew consisting of new paddlers, Braveheart exceeded expectations and delivered a strong performance at the 1st Diyandi Festival DragonBoat Race in Iligan City, held from September 20-22, 2024. We proudly secured a semifinal slot in the Open Category, showcasing the resilience and determination that defines our team.

We extend our deepest gratitude to those who believed in and supported us, even during challenging times:
• Two anonymous donors for generously providing our budget for food and transportation
• Hydra Dragonboat Team for their unwavering support and for allowing us to borrow Mr. Justin Xairo as our drummer
• Mr. Justin Xairo for helping us out thru out the race
• Mr. Ztuf Yacapin for joining our crew and completing the team
• Milestone Prep for assisting with some of our race-related expenses
• Hamlet Dragons for kindly lending us life vests
• Butuan Dragons for assisting us with transportation from the race venue to our school billeting VV
