Today, the heart of Northern Mindanao beats a little faster.
We are celebrating our annual city fiesta, the culmination of the Higalaay Festival. It is a day overflowing with the energy of the street dancers, the colors of the parades, the sounds of marching bands, and the solemnity of the religious and fluvial processions. 🥳 🎉 🎊
But the Higalaay Festival is more than a spectacle. It is a powerful reminder of who we are: Kagay-anons. 😊
It is a time to honor our patron, St. Augustine, and express our collective gratitude for a year of resilience, abundant harvests, and countless blessings. 🙏
