In the recently concluded MASTS Friendship Games 2025 held on October 26–31, 2025, at Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental, the USTP Table Tennis Team delivered a stellar performance securing medals and awards across various categories.

"Smashing through barriers, one point at a time!" 🏓✨

The USTP Table Tennis Team emerged victorious, bagging medals and awards in the recently concluded MASTS Friendship Games 2024 held in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, from November 23-29, 2024.

With an impeccable 5-0 record, the Men’s Team triumphed, securing the prestigious Gold Medal and being crowned Champions in the Team Event. The dynamic lineup included Niño Anthony Neri, Johann Matthew Eruela, Sir Jeh-Sun Moon Baz, Ralph Lawrence Buagas, and Loui Isaac Delos Reyes, coached by Dr. Elmer Castillano. Additionally, Niño Anthony Neri clinched the Bronze Medal in the Men's Singles event.

The Women's Team, on the other hand, also showcased remarkable talent, finishing as quarterfinalists in the Women's Team Event. Their lineup featured Nelle Pulta, Alyzza Asequia, Arianne Guiroy, and Farah Cañete, also coached by Dr. Elmer Castillano.

The excitement builds as J.H. Cerilles State College prepares to host the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 (MASTS) Games 2024! at Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.

LET'S GO PAGADIAN!!!

𝗝𝗛𝗖𝗦𝗖, 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

From Camiguin to Davao Oriental to Cotabato. This year, the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Inc. Games and Cultural Festival will travel 246 kilometers northwest as Josefina H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) and the provincial government of Zamboanga del Sur are set to host this year's biggest collegiate event in Mindanao.

A total of 10,000 students and coaches from over 30 state universities and colleges around Mindanao are expected to gather on September 10-15, 2024. Let the countdown to begin!

Congratulations to the Men's Table Tennis Team for their Semi-finalist Finish and 2nd Place in the Region Category.

Let us also not forget the Women's Table Tennis Team, securing a Silver Medal in the Team Event and 2nd Place in the Region Category.
