ISU Cabagan ROTC completes RAATI 2024; aims to defend title

Isabela State University-Cabagan Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit successfully completed the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection 2024 held at ISU-C Grandstand today, June 10, with hopes of defending their title this year.

In 2023, the ISU-C ROTC Unit was recognized as the Provincial Champion in the RAATI. The unit aspires to maintain this title as other ROTC units from different campuses have yet to perform.

Under the direction of Chairman RAATI, Lieutenant Colonel Rogelio T. Benitez, General Staff Course (MNSA) Philippine Army (Reserve), the RAATI team examined various areas, including the administrative aspect, band, small unit tactics, field stripping, company drill, map reading, theoretical exam, and other areas.

The event was also attended by supportive leaders including on-the-go government units - Dr. Emerson V. Barcellano, Cluster Executive Officer; Mr. Alvaro B. Valencia, Campus NSTP Director and ROTC Coordinator; campus officials and other faculty and staff; Comdt. Col. Randy L. Pagunuran, Infantry (GSC) Phil. Army; Asst. Comdt. 2LT Marie F. Co**ha, Phil. Army (Reserve); ISU Cabagan Medical unit; and BFP Cabagan & MDRRMO-LGU Cabagan.

The RAATI aims to assess the level of administrative efficiency, training, management proficiency, quality of training, and education achieved by the Corps and Cadets to identify the best-performing ROTC units in the region.
