ALTHEA DULALAS: Playing with Purpose, Living by Faith
A true volleyball enthusiast, Althea has been playing the sport since grade school. As an outgoing and sociable young athlete, volleyball has become more than just a game for her ... it has been a way of connecting with people, building friendships, and becoming part of a community, whether in school, among neighbors, in nearby barangays, or even through friends of friends.
She is relatively new to the TCA Varsity Girls Volleyball Team, but she has quickly earned the trust and confidence of her coach. She is coachable, hardworking, and willing to learn. She does her homework, takes corrections positively, and shows genuine interest in developing her skills—especially in setting, as she continues to emerge as a promising setter for the team.
But beyond volleyball, TCA Varsity Girls Volleyball is intentional about building character. Part of its team culture is learning the true values embodied in the Bible and becoming rooted and anchored in the love and knowledge of God. Althea firmly believes that everything she has received and enjoys today comes from the sovereign God, through His Son, Jesus Christ. She faithfully participates in every Bible study and fellowship, growing together with her teammates and coaches not only as athletes, but as young women of faith.
Her hard work is already opening new doors. She was recently recruited as one of three composite athletes from the Cluster 6 winning team that will compete in the Butuan City Division Meet on September 1–2, 2026.
