And the Women’s Open Shortboard Champion is Jolina Longos of Siargao! Coming in second is Vea Estrellado. Both ladies showed valiant effort in the water to bring their odyssey for a title to an end. Congratulations to both ladies!

Calicoan Odyssey Waves: the 2nd Leg of the 2023 NextGen Pilipinas Surfing National Tour
This event is sanctioned by the United Philippine Surfing Association (UPSA) and is brought to you by NextGen Philippines and the Municipality Of Guiuan, Eastern Samar through Mayor Annaliza Gonzales-Kwan.
This event is organized by the Municipality of Guiuan, the United Philippine Surfing Association, and in cooperation with the local surfing organizations of Calicoan Island: ABCD Surf, Calicoan Local Surfers, Samrayan Surfboards, and the Backyard Surf Co. Special thanks to Tingog Party List and House Speaker Martin Romualdez. This competition is recognized by the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Olympic Committee.
