That’s exactly why tournaments are a regular part of the CholoCamp training program. 🏀

Drills and private training can develop ball handling, shooting, and footwork. But the game teaches something different — how to trust teammates, communicate under pressure, compete with respect, and step up for each other.

A player can have all the skills in the world, but basketball is still a team sport. Without learning how to play with others, those skills can only go so far.

That’s why we believe real development happens not just in practice, but in competition — when players learn to win together, lose together, and grow together.

Because the goal isn’t just to build better players.

Today we celebrate the girls and women who continue to change the game—with skill, confidence, and heart.

At CholoCamp, we believe every young athlete deserves the same opportunity to learn, compete, and grow on the court.

This mission is led by Coach Cholo Villanueva, head coach of the De La Salle Lady Archers and the reigning Champions of the Women's Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League with Batangas New Zealand Bluefire.
