The Bilar Tennis Club is proud to announce the successful commencement of its first-ever tennis tournament, which officially began last March 9, 2025. The tournament will run until April 27, 2025, providing ample time for participants to showcase their skills, engage in friendly competition, and further their passion for tennis.
The primary goal of the tournament is to enhance the skills of local tennis players and identify new, promising talent who could potentially become the next generation of tennis stars. By creating this platform, the Bilar Tennis Club aims to foster a greater interest in tennis and sports in general within the local community, while also encouraging individuals to pursue active, healthy lifestyles.
The tournament has received enthusiastic support from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bilar, led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Norman "Tata" Palacio. The support of the LGU has helped to elevate the event and ensure its success, providing resources, publicity, and a sense of unity in the community.
This tournament serves as an excellent opportunity to engage the youth and residents of Bilar in sports activities, encouraging them to take part in healthy competitions that promote discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. It is hoped that this event will inspire more people to get involved in tennis, contribute to the development of sports in the region, and create a lasting legacy of athleticism and community spirit.
