During the vigil service(9.29.24) at Amaganad Banaue...

I couldn't resist sharing the beautiful singing of this men's and women's group from Banaue. MC introduced the men's group, the "Fisher's of Men," from CITAC, the men's group in red jaleco "AMENCF or Amganad Men's Christian Fellowship" , and the women's group "Women in Gray (⁠◔⁠‿⁠◔⁠)."

They highlight the importance of songs as a way to deliver God's message.

The men's group encourages men to attend church (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)⁠❤. One reason they started the group is that they noticed women are more likely to attend church than men , or women make up the majority of churchgoers.

The pastor's message that resonated with me the most was about the "death of love one". He said that "death of the love one is NOT THE END of everything but rather a gateway to HOPE. He referenced John 11, the story of Lazarus. It's normal to feel grief, sadness, anger, confusion, fear or worry about the future, but we should remember that there is hope for renewal and life.
