As the podium awaited the glory of its victors, the UISB Dagsagilas Season 2 officially took center stage at the corners of the VSU Gymnasium yesterday, May 3, for its closing ceremony. The event showcased the grace and swag of dance and placing the victors in a spotlight they fought hard to secure.

And the legacy continues. KASAMMA Imperial Sphinx once more defend the title, reclaiming our place on the throne of glory as champions, 𝙚𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟮 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲

Here's the highlights on the last day of UISB Dagsagilas Season 2, the most-awaited part of the event where each faction showcase once again their passion and determination.

Dancing gracefully in the arena, the Folk Dance delivered serene and elegant rhythmic movements where every step is meticulous, followed by a jaw-dropping performance of the Hip-Hop Dance, shaking the audience with their impeccable moves and well-timed synchronization.

Later on, the main highlight of the night was the announcement of winners for each thrilling competition throughout the season. With hearts pounding and anticipation filling the air, the moment finally arrived. The Imperial Sphinx was crowned as the Dagsagilas Season 2 Champion, igniting thunderous cheers across the arena as they claimed their well-earned victory.

The 𝘒𝘈𝘚𝘈𝘔𝘔𝘈 𝘏𝘪𝘱-𝘏𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴 bring the floor back to the era of 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟕 𝙞𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙝𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨, where nostalgia meets pure swagger in every beat drop and movement.

With dark, tactical energy and camo-inspired style, they move like rhythm is memory— reviving iconic sounds with sharp hits, clean formations, and undeniable stage presence. Every track becomes fuel, every transition becomes a statement, and every moment hits like a throwback turned upgrade.

Their performance is a rewind with attitude, where old-school hits are reborn through modern hip-hop fire.

The 𝘒𝘈𝘚𝘈𝘔𝘔𝘈 𝘍𝘰𝘭𝘬 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘴 gracefully take the stage as they perform the traditional Filipino folk dance “𝙇𝙖 𝙅𝙤𝙩𝙖 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝙅𝙤𝙖𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙖” bringing culture and history to life through every elegant movement and rhythmic step.

Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, they move with poise and precision, as the familiar rhythm of the dance fills the air with nostalgia and pride. Every turn of the hand fan, every synchronized step, and every graceful formation reflects the richness of Filipino heritage passed down through generations.

After days of relentless effort, unity, and determination, the one and only 𝙆𝘼𝙎𝘼𝙈𝙈𝘼 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙭 emerges once again as the 𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝘼𝙇𝙇 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙈𝙋𝙄𝙊𝙉 of this year’s UISB Dagsagilas Season 2.

As reigning champions, they extend their historic run from a 6-peat to a remarkable 7-peat—proving that excellence is not a moment, but a tradition.

And with that, there is only one thing left to say…

The KASAMMA Canvas Painting artists secured 2nd Place in the competition, showcasing creativity, precision, and expressive artistry through their work.

In the On-the-Spot Painting category, KASAMMA also secured 3rd Place, further highlighting their strength and versatility in the field of visual arts.

They were awarded this evening, May 3, 2026, during the Closing Program, receiving their trophy in recognition of their achievement.

From powerful hip-hop beats to vibrant folk dance traditions, UISB Dagsagilas Season 2 lit up the stage with talent, passion, and pure energy across three exciting days of Sportsfest, culminating in a spectacular Dance Fest and awarding ceremony.

As we close the curtain on May 3, 2026, we celebrate unforgettable performances and honor the champions who brought home the glory.

Congratulations to all the players, dancers, supporters, and organizers— this isn’t the end, it’s just the encore.
