Dear Swimming,

I would like to say sorry for saying “I hate you” so many times over the years for having an itchy skin or a dry hair until I realized that those small things could have brought me to so many big opportunities in my life. Yes, we do have this love-hate relationship but those were the best times of us. Do you remember the first time I met you? I was scared and curious but at the same time excited and full of joy. I knew at that time, something great is bound to happen and we could make good memories together. What about the first time that we did not win? Do you still remember? I cried so much and got frustrated, I didn’t even want to see you since then, but weeks after that I started missing you. You made me realize that not winning doesn’t always mean losing but it’s another chance for making something bigger. I’m glad I never quit on you even if most of the time, I almost. You were always there. You never let me sank in all our problems throughout our journey, instead you encourage me to keep swimming forward until I reach my goal. You have molded me to be a good sport, taught me with so many life lessons and equipped me with life skills. And most especially you introduced me to the best people of my life and I’m so grateful to you for that. You have always brought me comfort in the water and I know I could always be home with you.

To my first love thank you, I love you and I will always will.

Because your safety is our top priority!
Our BLSS Coaches underwent a Water Safety Training under Philippine Emergency and Rescue Services, held last January 31 to February 1, 2020 in Xavier School.

Through this training, we aim to provide a safe swimming environment in and out of the pool. Now our BLSS coaches are not just confident but even more equipped with skills and knowledge to teach, train and save lives. Indeed, it’s more safe and fun with BLSS!
