Blessed Day REDEEM! 🏀

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)

This verse serves as a reminder that despite life’s constant changes, Jesus remains unwavering. His character, love, truth, and faithfulness endure through every season we encounter. In uncertain moments, we can find solace in His unwavering faithfulness, knowing that the same One who was faithful in the past is still faithful today. Let this verse inspire you to anchor your heart in Jesus, recognizing His constant, dependable, and eternal worthiness of our trust.

Our Papawis Ministry session kicks off this Saturday at the Greenwoods Clubhouse, located in Greenwoods Subdivision, Pallocan Silangan. Before we head to the court, we’ll gather for a Devotion Before Play Time, led by Bro. Elmer Peramo, starting at 9:00 AM. Let’s prepare not only for the game but also for our hearts through God’s Word and fellowship. We eagerly anticipate seeing everyone and spending another special time together as a united ministry family. See you all this Saturday! 🏀🙌 May God bless us all!

Redeem Ministry Aims to develop a spiritual relationship with the Lord Jesus—to be saved by grace through faith by Him, and to walk in the path of righteousness which GOD has prepared in advance for us to do. ☝🏼

Redeem Ministry’s Goal is to create an avenue for fellowship and evangelism through basketball, to devote these players in the love of Our Lord Jesus, and to encourage every player to be involved in the Growth Group.

“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

“When Jesus Sits at the Table”

“When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table.” — Luke 22:14

Jesus knew what was about to happen.

He knew that one of His disciples would betray Him. He knew Peter would deny Him. He knew suffering, rejection, and the cross were ahead of Him. Yet when the hour came, Jesus still sat at the table with His disciples.

This reminds us that Jesus does not only meet us in our victories. He meets us in moments of uncertainty, weakness, and difficulty. Even when we do not understand what is coming next, He remains present.

The table also reminds us of fellowship. Jesus chose to spend His final moments before the cross with His disciples. Faith is not meant to be lived alone. We need people who will encourage us, pray with us, correct us, and walk with us through every season.

Sometimes, we may feel unworthy to come to the table because of our mistakes, failures, or shortcomings. But Jesus invites us anyway.

The invitation is not because we are perfect—it is because He is faithful.

As we gather together, whether in church, fellowship, basketball, or everyday life, may we remember that every opportunity to sit together is an opportunity to reflect Christ’s love.

Reflection
● Am I making time to be present with Jesus?● Am I building genuine fellowship with other believers?
● Am I trusting Jesus even when I know difficult seasons are ahead?

Blessed Day REDEEM! 🏀

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Exodus 14:14

One of the hardest things God asks us to do is wait. We want to fix the problem, find the answer, or take control because doing something feels better than doing nothing. But there are seasons when faith looks less like action and more like trust. Standing still is not giving up. It is choosing to believe that God is already at work, even when we cannot see it. While we worry, He is making a way. While we wait, He is strengthening our faith. Sometimes the greatest victory comes not because we fought harder, but because we trusted God enough to let Him fight for us. If you are in a season of waiting today, remember that God’s silence does not mean His absence. He is moving on your behalf in ways you may not understand yet.

Our Papawis Ministry session begins this Saturday at the Greenwoods Clubhouse, situated at Greenwoods Subdivision, Pallocan Silangan. Before we head to the court, we’ll gather for a Devotion Before Play Time, led by Elder Marlon Tan, starting at 9:00 AM. Let’s prepare not only for the game but also for our hearts through God’s Word and fellowship. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.”

Psalm 46:1

Life can be hard, and sometimes it feels like one challenge comes right after another. In those moments, it is easy to wonder if God sees what you are going through. The truth is that He has never taken His eyes off you. God does not always remove every hardship right away, but He promises to walk with you through each one. Difficult seasons can strengthen our faith, teach us to depend on Him, and remind us that our hope is not found in easy circumstances but in His unchanging love. No matter what you are facing today, hold on to the promise that God is faithful. He has carried you this far, and He will continue to give you the strength you need for whatever comes next.

Our Papawis Ministry session kicks off this Saturday at Ebron Gym, located at 174 Ebron Drive, Barangay Gulod Labac, Batangas City. Before we hit the court, we’ll gather for a Devotion Before Play Time, led by Redeem Team Captain Gelo Celemin, starting at 9:00 AM. Let’s get ready not just for the game, but also for our hearts through God’s Word and fellowship. We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone and spending another special time together as one ministry family. See you all this Saturday! 🏀🙌 May God bless us all!

“Pray First, Worry Less”

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, through prayer and thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6-7

Life gives us many reasons to worry—our health, family, finances, work, studies, or the future. It’s natural to feel anxious, but Paul reminds believers that anxiety doesn’t have to control us. Instead of carrying every burden alone, God invites us to bring everything to Him in prayer.

Notice that the passage doesn’t say we will always receive the answer we expect. What God promises is something just as valuable: His peace. This peace is not based on circumstances but on His presence. Even when situations remain uncertain, God can calm our hearts and strengthen our minds.

Prayer is more than asking God for help; it is trusting Him with what we cannot control. Thanksgiving also changes our perspective. When we remember God’s past faithfulness, it becomes easier to trust Him with today’s challenges.

For athletes, leaders, students, workers, and families, this passage is a reminder to pray first before reacting, trusting that God is already at work even when we cannot see it.

Blessed Day REDEEM! 🏀

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11

The unknown can be scary because we like to know what is coming next. We want answers, plans, and certainty, but life does not always work that way. As believers, we can find peace in knowing that while we may not know the future, God does. He is already in tomorrow, preparing the way and walking ahead of us. When fear tries to take hold, we can choose faith instead, trusting that God’s wisdom is greater than our understanding. The same God who has carried us through difficult seasons before will continue to guide us through whatever lies ahead. We do not have to be afraid of the unknown when we are walking with the One who knows all things.

Our Papawis Ministry session will begin this Saturday at Greenwoods Subdivision, Pallocan Silangan, Batangas. Before we step onto the court, we will first come together for a Devotion Before Play Time, led by D. Sam Marasigan, starting at 9:00 AM. Let us prepare not only our bodies for the game but also our hearts through God’s Word and fellowship. We are excited to see everyone and spend another meaningful time together as one ministry family. See you all this Saturday! 🏀🙌 May God bless us all!

“The Shepherd Who Pursues”

“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?” — Luke 15:4

In this parable, Jesus Christ describes God’s heart through the image of a shepherd searching for one lost sheep. The shepherd does not ignore the one that wandered away because he still values it. He is willing to leave the ninety-nine and search until the lost one is found.

This reveals three truths about God:

1. Every person matters to God

The lost sheep was only one out of a hundred, but the shepherd considered it worth searching for. In the same way, God does not measure our value by numbers, achievements, or status. Each person has significance in His eyes.

2. God pursues before we return

The sheep did not find its way back by itself—the shepherd went after it. This reflects God’s grace: He takes the first step toward restoring us. Even when we drift spiritually, His desire is to bring us back into His presence.

3. God’s joy is restoration

The shepherd’s goal was not punishment but recovery. God’s heart is not to condemn those who are lost but to restore them. Heaven celebrates when someone turns back to Him.

Blessed Day REDEEM! 🏀

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:19

Sometimes we spend so much energy trying to figure out every detail of life that we forget God already sees the whole picture. He knows what you need before you ask, and He is not late, confused, or unaware of what is weighing on your heart. Today, you can take a deep breath and trust that your Father is paying attention. You may not have every answer yet, but you have a God who provides, guides, and cares for you one step at a time.

Our Papawis Ministry session will commence this Saturday at Greenwoods Subdivision, conveniently located in Pallocan Silangan, Batangas. The session will commence with a devotional service led by E. Marlon Tan at 9:00 a.m. We eagerly await your presence. May God bless us all! 🏀✨

“Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow”

“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” — Proverbs 27:1

It’s easy to say, “I’ll pray later.” “I’ll serve God when life settles down.” “I’ll deal with that tomorrow.” We often assume we have plenty of time.

But this verse reminds us that tomorrow isn’t promised.

That’s not meant to make us afraid—it’s meant to make us intentional. Don’t put off obedience. Don’t delay loving people. Don’t postpone the things God is calling you to do today.

Sometimes we wait for the “perfect time” to grow in faith, forgive someone, chase purpose, or make things right with God. But often, God works in the now.

Today is a gift. Today is an opportunity.

If there’s a step of faith to take, take it. If there’s someone to encourage, do it. If God is speaking to your heart, respond now.
