Serving as a mediator in case of disputes or conflicts within the team.
Game Captain:
The game captain, also known as the on-court captain or playing captain, is a player designated to perform specific duties during a match.
The game captain is usually chosen from among the starting players and may rotate depending on who is on the court at any given time.
Responsibilities of the game captain include:
Representing the team during on-court discussions with referees, such as clarifying rules, requesting timeouts, or challenging calls.
Ensuring that the team adheres to the rules and regulations of the game, including rotations and substitutions.
Communicating strategies and tactics from the coach to the players during timeouts or breaks in play.
Providing leadership and direction to teammates on the court, particularly in organizing defense, coordinating attacks, and adjusting tactics based on the flow of the game.
Maintaining composure and focus during crucial moments of the match, inspiring confidence and determination in the team.
