It was founded by Baler surfer Deck Sotero to create jobs for some of the locals, due to the gradual massive increase in tourism that has been building up here in Baler during the past few years. We have 30 surf instructors, they are all local surfers who share a common passion for the sport. With Beach Break, you are assured that the person who will teach you to surf, will do it right. Because of

the mentioned tourism boom in Baler, everybody can claim to be a surf instructor, and many of them are actually only beginners themselves. They might teach how to pop up on the board, but that's as far as they know. If you really want to learn, ours is the best place to go. The cost of a surf lesson here is a standard rate whoever you ask. With us, you'll get the best value for your money because our instructors have been surfing since long before Baler's tourism boom. Apart from surf lessons, we have tourism services. Our tour specialists are certified by the local tourism board, meaning they know what they're doing. Tour packages with us can include destinations that are not usually exposed to tourist activity, but beautiful and breathtaking nonetheless. Major tour spots include the majestic Mother Falls (also called the Diguisit Falls) in the neighboring municipality of San Luis, Aurora. Another is the biggest Balete tree in Asia found in Qurino, Maria Aurora, Aurora. There's also the Museo de Baler, the house of the former president Manuel L. Quezon, and the Ermita Hill (this is where the people fled up to in the 1700's, when Baler took a catastrophic tsunami hit), and the Cobra Reef. Arrangements can be made to include more destinations. We can include Ampere Beach in Dipaculao, Aurora (around 30-45 minutes away from Baler), but this should be scheduled in the early morning because in this place can be witnessed the most immaculate, most spectacular and most majestic sunrise experience in the country. There are many, many other places we can go. If you're considering booking a tour package with us or just want to know, we'll discuss more optional destinations with you, just message us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. We also have photography services. On request, we will take pictures of your surfing experience. We can make arrangements if you would like to have our photographer cover the tour as well, should you (and you should!) decide to go. We do beach photography, and we also have a photography workshop if you aim to learn about photography, how to use and manually configure your dSLR and understand its functions -- and if you like, we can include photograph post-processing as well. Baler is an ideal place to learn photography, as there are so many natural sites that can be conducive to learning.
