GOLIATH IN THE CLASSROOM

But the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we."

George Bernard Dantzig came 20 minutes late for his statistics class. On the blackboard, the professor had already written 2 math problems. So George copied it and assumed it was an assignment. He later studied hard to solve the 2 problems. A week later he submitted the solutions to his professor. A few days passed and George was called into the dean’s office. To his surprise, the room was filled with many professors and scholars in the field of math. His professor asked George how he managed to solve the 2 math problems. He told George that he only wrote down the 2 equations as examples of unsolved math problems. George entered the class without knowing they were unsolved.

We oftentimes give up because others say it is impossible. We should not let what they say define us.

OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, we look to You when when problems seem enormous. We will not allow what others say what we can or cannot do. Our faith in You alone defines us.

“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27)

🕊 THE “WISDOM BEFORE WEALTH PRINCIPLE”

A Biblical Blueprint for Building Prosperity That Lasts

Most entrepreneurs pray for increase.
Few pray for instruction.

Most ask God for money.
Few ask Him for mastery.

Most want the blessing.
Few want the blueprint.

But Scripture makes this very clear:

“wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.”
-Proverbs 8:11

In other words:

⚡ Wealth without wisdom is wasted.
⚡ Money gained too soon becomes money lost too fast.
⚡ Prosperity built on wisdom produces legacy instead of liabilities.

This is the Wisdom Before Wealth Principle…

👑 1. Wisdom Is the First Dividend God Gives the Faithful

People chase money.
But God gives something better:

Insight. Strategy. Discernment.

Solomon asked for wisdom…
and wealth chased him.

When you seek the mind of God, you gain access to:

• better decisions
• better stewardship
• better partnerships
• better boundaries

Wisdom becomes the internal software that upgrades your entire life.

🧱 2. Wealth Built on Wisdom Can Survive What Life Throws at It

Money built on trends evaporates.
Money built on hype collapses.
Money built on ego destroys itself.

But wisdom-built wealth is like the house Jesus described:

“built on the rock”
…not shaken, not shattered, not stolen by storms.

When your business decisions are rooted in Biblical wisdom,
your foundation becomes unbreakable.

🧭 3. Wisdom Protects You From the Wrong Deals and the Wrong People

Discernment is the entrepreneur’s shield.

God doesn’t just bless you with new opportunities… He protects you from destructive ones.

Some of the greatest blessings in your life
are the deals you never signed
and the people God removed.

Wisdom is not just knowing what to do.
It’s knowing what to walk away from.

📈 4. Wisdom Produces Multiplication, Not Just Addition

When you operate in God-given wisdom:

• your time multiplies
• your income multiplies
• your influence multiplies
• your impact multiplies

Because wisdom trains you to work ON the vision,
not just IN the work.

You stop surviving.
You start scaling.

🔐 5. Wisdom Converts Your Calling Into a Kingdom Legacy

Wealth fades.
Wisdom outlives you.

Your decisions today shape your children’s tomorrow.
Your stewardship becomes someone else’s survival.
Your obedience becomes someone else’s opportunity.

This is why Scripture says:

“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.”
-Proverbs 13:22

Legacy is the reward of wisdom.

✨ FINAL WORD: The Blessing Follows the Blueprint

If you want God-ordained wealth,
start with God-ordained wisdom.

Because:

🔥 Wisdom creates the structure.
🔥 Wealth fills the structure.

First wisdom, then wealth.
That is the Kingdom order.

And when you honor God’s order,
your business stops being a burden
and becomes a vessel of blessing.

THE EMPTY JAR LESSON 🫙

Most people don’t have a time problem.
They have a priority problem.

They wake up and pour in:
emails
notifications
small tasks
busy work
other people’s agendas

By noon the jar is full.
And the big rocks never make it in.

So the things that actually change your life
your health
your calling
your revenue activities
your relationships
your spiritual life
get pushed to “tomorrow.”

And tomorrow becomes a lifestyle.

Here’s the truth:

If you don’t schedule your big rocks first,
your sand will gladly schedule itself.

Sand is sneaky.
It feels productive.
It keeps you moving.
It gives the illusion of progress while stealing your future.

Big rocks are different.
They require intention.
They require saying no.
They require protecting time that doesn’t scream for attention.

But those are the things that actually build a life.

For entrepreneurs this means:
Big rocks = revenue-producing activities
Speaking
Creating offers
Closing deals
Building assets
Deep work

Everything else is sand.

For leaders this means:
Big rocks = vision, strategy, people development
Not just reacting all day.

For life this means:
Big rocks = faith, family, health, purpose
Not just surviving your calendar.

Notice something powerful:

When the big rocks go in first,
the sand still fits.

You don’t lose anything.
You just put first what cannot be replaced.

But when you fill your life with sand first,
there is no room left
for what actually matters.

So here’s the real question:

What are your big rocks?

And did you put them in today
or did you hope they would fit later?

Because later is the graveyard
of important things.

Start with what cannot be replaced.
