The mat became a classroom as our uniformed personnel participants took part in a live demonstration match during the Jiu-Jitsu Workshop: Duo and Fighting System held on May 29, 2026 at Lions Nation MMA, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Beyond showcasing techniques, the match highlighted the importance of control, situational awareness, and practical combat skills—qualities that complement the professionalism and commitment required in public service.

Their willingness to learn and step outside their comfort zones reflects a shared dedication to continuous growth, both as protectors of the community and as martial artists.

🥋 Action, strategy, and skill on full display!

One of the highlights of the Jiu-Jitsu Workshop: Duo and Fighting System was the exhibition match between Ms. Marianne Mariano and one of the participants, giving everyone a firsthand look at how the Jiu-Jitsu Fighting System works in actual competition.

From understanding the rules and scoring system to seeing techniques applied in a live match setting, participants gained valuable insights that will help them prepare for future tournaments.
