In the conclusion of Batang Pinoy 2025, we unfortunately have not brought home a medal this time. The fights and bouts were difficult but the athletes displayed great extent of effort and sportsmanship through out the event. Regardless of the difficulty and hardships, they gave all their very best.

The players are very thankful and grateful for the support of Mayor Ross Rizal, our Coach Shihan Nestor, parents, Gods protection, and peers that have given them the courage against all odds.

Congratulations once again JKA Calamba Team for representing Calamba! We will get them next time!

Our 4 players of JKA Calamba City Team is now in Davao! Let us give them our best of lucks and prayers for their coming of Batang Pinoy 2025 at October 25, 2025 in Gen San!

We hope for them to display great levels of athleticism, sportsmanship. Bring home both honor and medals to our chapter and to Calamba City!

October 18, 2025, The JKA Calamba was invited to compete once again at Easter College Gymnasium, Guisad, Baguio City which was named Baguio City Karate Championship.

The number of medals that have been won this time were:

🥇Gold - 5
🥈Silver - 4
🥉Bronze - 3
Total of Medals - 12

We are thankful for our Mayor Ross Rizal for his continuous support in training the players at City Hall.

In this time, the JKA Calamba City Team have fought their very best to push through many bouts. Their katas being stronger and better control in executing it. They have remarkably have shown better timing for intercepting and parrying attacks in kumite. Their counter techniques have improved a lot this year which shows their tremendous effort in training rigorously. Their initiation attacks specially in kicks were better compared to their past competitions. Though, they still have to work on their proper defense against attacks as they get punished for their weak guards as they need stronger guards to properly keep themselves safe at all times. Some players may not have gotten better results that they wanted, but they have shown their strong will to still go on as it is commendable feat.

The JKA Calamba City Team is grateful for being invited once again to compete in Baguio City.

Once again, Congratulations everyone! May we continuously improve and break our limits even further!

In a recent event, the JKA Calamba joined in an international Gashuku and tournament which was hosted at Amoranto, Quezon City, Manila, Philippines during September 27 - 28. The JKA Calamba has lesser lists of players that competed this time (due to financial issues for majority of our students at the time) but has gotten outstanding and impressive results.

The total amount of medals won were as follows:

🥇 Gold - 1
🥈 Silver - 1
🥉 Bronze - 3
Total Medals - 5

We are grateful that they were able to show their worth of hard work competing against both national and international competitors. They were able to willfully execute techniques at the right moment. This showed that the skills that they have learned retained and knew it's use and purposes properly.

Despite that majority of the players did not won gold and being their first time competing in a JKA Standardized Tournament, they have greatly improved their habits, reaction time, timing and techniques.

We are once again grateful that we were given the chance to compete in such level of tournament. We look forward to next JKA hosted event!

In our first JKA event joined for this year, the JKA Calamba Chapter have won about 27 total medals! The JKA Lipa Frienship Games 2025 was held at Lipa Academy of Sports Culture And Arts, Batangas in April 6th.

The JKA Calamba City Chapter have won about:

7 Golds
9 Silvers
11 Bronze

Many of our students that joined this JKA event were new as this served as their introduction on how JKA tournaments were hosted. They are delighted to see how their performances were able to catch up many of the competitors they have encountered and give a great fight!
We are grateful for participating this tournament as this helped the our players remember that karate creates a well disciplined and confident students that exhibits fair plays. May the students' confidence and efforts flourish more!

The JKA Calamba City team have competed its very first tournament of this year 2025 at Easter College Gymnasium Guisad,
Baguio City! The event named 2025 Panagbenga Karatedo Invitational Tournament was held during February 16, 2025.

17 total medals are won during this event!

4 Gold 🥇
6 Silver 🥈
7 Bronze 🥉

We congratulate our competitors, both winners and participants!

This time, the karatekas have fought hard against 20+ teams/clubs in Luzon. At this time, we also have first-timers who have competed. Some of them won medals, some of them did not. But the most important thing was that majority of our players was able to show their improvement and confidence throughout their competition. That no matter how painful their fights in kumite were, they showed a commendable will to continue and prove that they were better than before.

Our time in Baguio City was a great experience, specially starting of this year. The karatekas have enjoyed their experienced visiting Baguio City. The Team looks forward to comeback improved and compete once again!

May the improvement and skills of our students grows further in coming tournaments!

The JKA Calamba City is in Baguio! This coming February 16, the JKA Calamba City Team will be competing for the 2025 Panagbenga Karatedo Championship in Baguio.
Best of luck and safe trip to our players, coaches and shihan. This tournament will help us show the improvement of our karatekas as there are new players participating this time. Once again, Let us improve ourselves, bring medals and honor to our chapter — The JKA Calamba and our City of Calamba!

As we end this year with a bang, the JKA Laguna Team (JKA Calamba and JKA Sta. Rosa) have snatched the 5th Runner Up/Overall Team Rank in the 1st Mayor's Cup, Leopoldo N. Bataquil: Open Karate-do Tournament during December 15, 2024 that was held at Narcisco Ramos Sports and Civic Center, Lingayen, Pangasinan.

We the JKA Calamba City Chapter have won:

9 Golds 🥇
11 Silvers 🥈
9 Bronze 🥉

Total of 29 Medals!

We thank our Mayor Ross Rizal for his continuous support to the players!

This tournament helped our players understand the values of their flaws in their fights, their confidence, perfections of their basics, and acknowledge its existence. The players showed great camaraderie with their teammates which helped to deepen their bond as a team.

In welcoming New Year, we wish for the best of our karatekas' health, strength, life, wealth and improvement. Cheers to the JKA Calamba City Chapter for prosperity and a Happy New Year to everyone!
