Every journey creates ripples.

The Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE) and YGOAL proudly share Ripples of Change: The Journey — an e-book/zine that chronicles the growth and journey of the initiative through Phases 1 and 2 since its launch in 2021.

Blending stories, milestones, reflections, and program highlights in a zine-style format, the publication documents how youth leaders, organizations, mentors, and partners helped shape a growing movement for biodiversity conservation and youth engagement across the Philippines.

As the initiative now moves forward with Phase 3, the e-book serves both as a celebration and a record of the journey so far.

𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐋𝐆𝐔 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞

A meaningful step toward bringing government services closer to the people unfolded as the delegation from the Local Government Unit of Baganga, Davao Oriental, conducted a benchmarking activity at the LTO Calinan Extension Office, Davao City.

Representing Municipal Mayor Larry B. Taya, CPA, the LGU Baganga Team was led by Engr. Edito Jualo and Municipal Engineer Cristiann M. Oronan, with the clear objective of learning and observing best operational practices that will be adopted in the soon-to-open LTO Baganga Extension Office.

On behalf of Regional Director Ernesto Raphael V. Robillo, the team was warmly received by Mr. Arnell Ambag, OIC Head of the Calinan Extension Office, who generously shared insights into the office’s day-to-day operations, physical layout, workflow systems, and the IT and office equipment essential for efficient public service delivery.

This engagement reflects a shared commitment between Land Transportation Office Region XI and LGU Baganga to ensure that when the LTO Baganga Extension Office opens its doors, it will be fully prepared to deliver fast, organized, and people-centered services to the constituents of Baganga.

Our deepest appreciation to the officials of LGU Baganga for this proactive initiative and strong partnership in advancing the rollout of LTO XI services closer to the people.

We join the Church in celebrating Palm Sunday, a sacred day that marks the triumphant entry of our Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem.

This celebration is more than a tradition—it is a living symbol of our warm welcome to Jesus in our hearts and lives. Just as the people laid down palm branches to honor Him, we lay down our pride, fears, and burdens, opening ourselves to His grace and kingship.

Palm Sunday reminds us that true victory is found not in worldly power, but in humility, service, and love. As we wave our palms, we proclaim: “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord."

LOOK! The Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) of Baganga National High School conducted a tree planting activity at RC Macayra Elementary School on March 22, 2026 as part of their outreach program.

The Baganga Community Riders (BacRiders) had provided SSLG, upon their request, the native tree seedlings for the activity.

The tree seedlings are from the tree nursery of Bacriders under the flagship program TREE OF LIFE funded by the Foundation for the Philippine Environment’s 2.0 Project.

BalitangBacriders | Dumalo si FP Jak Dahunan sa kauna-unahang pagtitipon ngayong taong kasalukuyan ang mga kasapi ng Municipal Development Council para sang-ayonan ang mga programa, proyekto at aktibidad na gagawin ng lokal na pamamahala. Layunin din ng pagtitipon na makuha ang mga proyektong prayoridad ng bawat barangay at organisasyon upang maisali ito sa badyeting.

Nagpapasalamat ang butihing Mayor Lary Taya dahil sa mga ideya at mga panukalang proyekto na ibinihagi ng bawat kasapi ng MDC kaagapay ang mga Civil Society Organization ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Gayundin, nagpapasalamat ang Bacriders na naging bahagi sa makahulugang pagtitipon na naglalayong ipanalo ang kapakanan ng mamamayan.

LOCAL ANTI-POVERY COUNCIL PLANNING WORKSHOP March 9-10 | The Baganga Community Riders participated in a 2-Day planning workshop on Local Anti-Poverty Action Planning Workshop to fufill the mandate of RA 11291 or the Magna Carta of the Poor.

This workshop involved Civil Society Organization to share insights and help in crafting relevant programs to reduce poverty in our locality. The workshop was attended by the Founding President, and the Co-Chair of Municipal Poverty Reduction Action Committee (MPRAC), Mr. Jak Dahunan.
