Fernando Caesar Ausente Po “Nonoy Po”
Coach Nonoy started playing tennis at the age of 5 and won his first PHILTA trophy just four years later. Through years of hard work, discipline, and dedication, he established himself as one of Bacolod’s most accomplished tennis athletes.
Throughout his competitive career, Coach Nonoy won numerous provincial and regional tournaments and became an eight-time undefeated NOPSSCEA champion. He also represented Western Visayas twice in the Palarong Pambansa as a WVRAA athlete.
Over the years, he accumulated a total of 19 PHILTA and UTP championships, including 13 singles titles and 6 doubles titles. He is also nationally ranked in the Men’s Open Division in the Philippines, further establishing himself among the country’s top competitive tennis players.
Coach Nonoy graduated from San Beda University and recently earned his degree in BS in Interdisciplinary Business Studies from De La Salle University.
As a collegiate athlete, he served as Team Captain for three years, demonstrating strong leadership both on and off the court.
Coach Nonoy is committed to helping players of all levels improve their skills, build confidence, and develop a genuine love for tennis.
