Hub ‘n Spoke is a social enterprise initiated by the Bohol Local Development Foundation and derives from the Ecological and Community-Based Tourism Plan as developed by the Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Baclayon in Bohol. Baclayon as the Cycling Mecca of Bohol
Hub ‘n Spoke strongly believes that with hard work, dedication and active participation of the local communities, the Munic
ipality of Baclayon has the potential to become the ‘Cycling Mecca’ of the Province of Bohol for foreign and national tourists. Currently a bike rental only, Hub ‘n Spoke strives to further develop itself into a tour operator offering an ecologically and community friendly touring agenda. We want to offer a touring agenda that thinks outside the box. A touring agenda that actively involves the community of Baclayon and promotes the preservation of cultural heritage, the beautiful, untamed nature and the warmth of the friendly people of Baclayon. Employment and Education
Hub ‘n Spoke highly valuates employment and education and therefore actively cooperates with the Department of Education in the Philippines to train and employ school drop outs in Baclayon. We believe that by challenging the out of school youth and giving them an opportunity to discover their talents through on the job training and employment, we will bring out their full potential. We believe that nowadays you do not educate yourself for a couple of years, but that you are learning throughout your entire life. At any given age you are still capable of developing yourself into what you have wanted to be since you were a little child as long as your heart and your passion is in whatever you do and you are willing to work hard.
