Congratulations on your well-deserved Green Belt promotion during the recent mass promotion! 🥋💚 This achievement is a reflection of your hard work, discipline, patience, and dedication throughout your training. Every practice, every correction, and every moment of perseverance has led to this important milestone in your martial arts journey.

We are also very proud of you for stepping onto the mat and doing your best in the Kata Tournament. Even though you didn’t bring home the thropy this time, your courage, determination, and willingness to challenge yourself are victories in themselves. Competing takes strength, confidence, and heart, and you showed all of that.

Remember that martial arts is not only about winning competitions but about continuous learning, growth, and building character. Every experience—whether a win or a loss—helps shape you into a stronger and better martial artist.

Misconceptions on Martial Arts Practitioners:
“Basagulero yan nagmamartial arts yan eh,lapitin yan panigurado ng gulo”

Marami pa rin ang may maling akala na kapag nagma-martial arts ang isang tao, basagulero na agad sila. Na palagi silang handang makipag-away at naghahanap ng gulo. Pero kapag nakita mo ang buhay sa loob ng training, doon mo mare-realize na kabaliktaran pala ang totoo tungkol sa kanila.

Well in fact, these kids said na nagsimula ng mag-training sila, akala nila puro suntok at sipa lang. Pero habang tumatagal, mas naintindihan nila na ang martial arts ay hindi tungkol sa suntok at sipa lang kundi tungkol sa pagkontrol sa sarili. Dito nila natutotunan ang disiplina, ang respeto sa coach at mga kasama, at higit sa lahat, ang pagpapakumbaba at pagkakaibigan. Natututo rin silang tanggapin ang pagkatalo nang may pagpapakumbaba at bumangon nang mas matatag.

Dito din nila mas nakikilala ang bawat isa kung ano mga kanya kanyang rason nila kung bakit sumali. Habang tumatagal sila sa martial arts, hindi lang katawan nila ang lumalakas — pati mindset nila. Mas nagiging confident sila, mas focused sa goals, at mas disiplinado sa araw-araw na buhay dahil hindi tinotolerate ang bad attitude inside and outside the gym.

Kaya bago husgahan ang mga nagma-martial arts, isipin muna natin: baka mas maayos pa nga ang mindset nila kaysa sa inaakala natin.

Hindi nila ginagawa ito para makipag-away.
Ginagawa nila ito para maging maayos na version ng sarili nila — inside and outside the mat. 🥋💪

for AMA members.

This highly anticipated event aims to strengthen discipline, technical skills, unity, and leadership within the Aguila Martial Arts community. Participants will showcase traditional kata, take part in official rank promotions, and engage in outdoor training led by AMA-certified instructors and senior masters.
