The College of Information and Computing Sciences, proudly claimed 2nd runner-up in the Socio-Cultural competition at the Cagayan State University-Aparri Intramurals 2025. The college showcased exceptional teamwork, creativity, and dedication across various events, making this year’s celebration truly memorable.

CICS students proved their excellence beyond academics, displaying remarkable artistry and talent throughout the competition. Their unity, determination, and school spirit lead them to secure a top 3 ranking among seven participating colleges.

This achievement was made possible through the unwavering support of instructors, coaches, performers, and the entire CICS community, who cheered passionately during every event. The victory reflects the college’s commitment to discipline, hard work, and sportsmanship.

Earning 2nd runner-up overall in Socio-Cultural events is a milestone that inspires every CICS student to strive for greater heights, whether in academics, sports, or the arts.

The College of Information and Computing Sciences, has once again proven its strength-not only in academics but also in sports-as it emerged as the overall champion of this year’s Intramurals.

The department’s triumph was built on the dedication of its student-athletes, the guidance of its coaches, and the unwavering support of the entire CICS community, from the faculty who motivated the teams, to the students who filled the sidelines with cheers, everyone played a part in securing the victory.

CICS athletes excelled across different sports, showing not just skill but also the values of teamwork and discipline that the department instills in its students, each game was a reflection of the department’s unity, resilience, and competitive spirit, proving that CICS stands strong both inside and outside the classroom.

This victory is more than just a sports achievement—it is a proud moment for the entire CICS family, It reflects the department’s commitment to excellence and the shared belief that success is best achieved together.

The championship title is not just for the athletes, but for the whole CICS Department, whose passion and unity sealed this unforgettable Intramurals victory.
