This year marked our girls’ first time competing at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Philippines, and we couldn’t be prouder of them for braving the stage and embracing this new experience.

YAGP is one of the largest international ballet competitions in the world, bringing together talented young dancers from different countries. Our girls spent several days attending masterclasses with world-renowned teachers, learning new techniques, and gaining valuable experience alongside dancers from around the world.

One of the highlights was having the opportunity to meet and take class with Teacher Danielle’s former teacher, Mr. Andrei Jouravlev, from the Joffrey Ballet in New York. It was such a special, full-circle moment to see her own teacher now sharing their knowledge with the next generation of dancers.

A huge congratulations to Gelly for being invited to the Special Scholarship Callback Masterclass and placing Top 12 in the Pre-Competitive Contemporary Solo Division, making her one of the youngest dancers to place in the Top 12 in her age category. We are incredibly proud of you!

Congratulations as well to our classical group, Petit Divertissement, for placing Top 12 in the Ensemble Category. This is a wonderful achievement, especially for their first time competing at YAGP.

Beyond the competition, we are grateful for the opportunity our girls had to meet new dancers, form friendships, and experience different cultures through dance. More than the awards and recognition, it is the lessons learned, the confidence gained, and the memories made that make this experience truly meaningful.

We are so proud of all our girls for their hard work, courage, and dedication. This is just the beginning of many more opportunities and experiences ahead. We hope you continue to learn, grow, and dream big. Congratulations, girls!

The past few days have been such a busy but unforgettable experience here in Japan.

A huge congratulations to our Gelly for placing 1st overall in Japan! She did extraordinarily well, and we couldn’t be more proud of her.

On her first day, she had private coaching with Mr. Vadim Solomakha, and she was already approached by the competition organizer, who told her how talented she was and awarded her a scholarship to Miami!

On the second day, she met new friends and had private coaching with Ms. Mia Tomano for her contemporary variations. Ms. Mia enjoyed working with Gelly and described her as smart and easy to work with. She also noticed a big improvement from their coaching sessions to her performances.

And that’s a wrap!

We are so proud of all our girls for giving their best throughout the competition. Four days of hard work, learning, performing, celebrating one another, and meeting new friends. More than the awards, we’re grateful for the experiences and memories they’ll take with them.

Congratulations to Gelly for being invited to the Winner’s Gala and for placing 1st overall in her age division! What a wonderful way to end the competition. ✨

Day 3

Today was extra special as our girls came together to support their ballet sister, Oona, in her first contemporary competition. Watching them cheer her on, encourage her, and boost her confidence before she stepped on stage was such a beautiful moment. It reminded us that competitions are not only about awards, but also about the friendships and sisterhood we build along the way.

Oona danced beautifully today. For her first contemporary competition, she showed so much courage, growth, and confidence on stage. Her performance was truly beautiful and brought tears to our eyes.

Junior A Any Genre (8–10 years old)
Oona: πŸ₯ˆ Silver

We are so proud of your improvement, hard work, and progress, Oona. This is only the beginning of your journey in contemporary!

And to the two girls who stayed by her side, cheered her on, and helped her feel more confident before going on stage, thank you. Your support meant so much.

It truly takes a village to raise wonderful girls, not only graceful ballerinas, but kind, supportive, and loving ballet sisters.

Keep growing, girls. So much more is ahead of you.

Day 1 was a success!

We are incredibly proud of our tiny ballerinas and all that they achieved today!

It was Rorie and Oona’s first time competing in the Junior A category, going up against dancers aged 8–10, and yet they still held their own beautifully. We are so proud of your hard work, determination, and resilience. And most importantly, we are proud of the way you have genuinely supported, encouraged, and cheered each other on throughout the competition. 🀍
