Not every match ends with a trophy, but every game is a step forward. Our girls and boys showed grit, teamwork, and heart at the Alicia FC Futsal Tournament for a Cause!

Although we are a new club, our players competed in both the women’s and men’s open categories, facing older competitors and established clubs. This challenge gave us the perfect stage to showcase our style of play and prove that we can compete at their level.

This tournament highlighted the talent and potential of our boys and girls, showing that the future of football in Angadanan is in very capable hands.

Our first tournament outside Isabela is officially a SUCCESS! 🙌⚽

We are proud to share that our U13 Mixed Team and U17 Girls Team both secured 3rd Place in the 2nd AAC Valentine’s Futsal Tournament held at Mamba Gym, Cagayan Sports Complex last February 21, 2026. 🥉

This is a historic moment for our club as this is the very first time we competed outside Isabela. All of this would not have been possible without the full support of our Honorable Mayor Joelle Mathea Panganiban, and to our amazing and supportive parents who trusted and allowed their children to participate despite the long travel and distance.

Maraming salamat po sa inyong tiwala at suporta. ❤️

This achievement is only the beginning. It is a strong stepping stone toward our dream of becoming a football powerhouse in Isabela. We have shown that even as a young and growing club, we can compete and stand strong against well established teams.

This is just the start. We will keep working, keep believing, and keep pushing forward. The journey continues — and we are coming for more. 🔥⚽

Our Under-17 Girls Team proudly secured the Bronze Medal in the 2nd AAC Valentine’s Futsal Tournament held at Mamba Gym, Cagayan Sports Complex. 🥉

What makes this achievement even more special is that despite competing in the Under-17 category, majority of our players are only from Grade 5 to Grade 7, with ages ranging from 10 to 13 years old.

Against older, stronger, and more experienced opponents, our girls showed incredible courage, discipline, and determination. Their performance proved that age is not a limitation when you have heart, passion, and the willingness to fight for your team.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the community of Barangay Fugaru and to the whole municipality of Angadanan for their genuine financial support and encouragement. Special thanks to our honorable mayor, Joelle Mathea Panganiban, for sponsoring our club and making this opportunity possible for our young athletes.

To all the parents, thank you for your trust, sacrifices, and unwavering support. Allowing your children to pursue their dreams and represent not only their families but also our community and Angadanan inspires them to grow stronger, more confident, and more resilient every day.

Every club has its own goals and philosophy and we respect that.

While other clubs focus on winning tournaments, we focus on something deeper teaching our kids to love the game.

Don’t get us wrong, football is competitive and winning matters. But our priority is development over pressure. We allow our players to make mistakes, learn from them, build confidence, and express their creativity on the pitch.

More than skills, we teach discipline, accountability, and respect values that last beyond the game.

As one of my mentors once said when I was playing college football:

“Don’t focus on winning titles and championships. Focus on building disciplined players who love the game and titles and championships will follow.”

TOURNAMENT RECAP | ILOKANAS 5 FUTSAL TOURNAMENT

Our Angadanan United Futsal Girls have officially concluded their journey at the Ilokanas 5 Futsal Tournament with a record of 1 win, 1 draw, and 5 losses.

We may not have reached the semifinals, but this tournament gave us something far more important—real experience, hard lessons, and exposure to different styles of play that showed us what it really takes to compete at this level.

We didn’t bring home the championship, but we’ll come back stronger, wiser, and hungrier than ever.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the generous residents and supporters of Barangay Viga, Barangay Fugaru, and Barangay Ingud Sur for their financial support. Your help made this tournament possible by covering our players’ registration fees, meals, snacks, and transportation.

To our supportive parents, thank you for trusting us and allowing your children to represent our town with pride and honor.
