Amazing Round Returns for a Blockbuster Weekend of Rugby League on One Stage
PORT MORESBY, 02nd June, 2026: The PNG National Rugby League Competition (PNG NRLC) is excited to announce the return of the Digicel ExxonMobil Cup Amazing Round, bringing all six Round 9 fixtures together at Santos National Football Stadium for one action-packed weekend of rugby league.
Following the success of the inaugural Amazing Round in 2025, the concept returns bigger and better in 2026, with every Digicel ExxonMobil Cup club converging on Port Moresby to compete on the same stage across two days of competition.
The Amazing Round fixture schedule will feature three matches on Saturday, 6 June, and three matches on Sunday, 7 June, giving fans the opportunity to watch every team in the competition in action over a single weekend.
The schedule features a total of seven high-profile matches across two days, including the clash or ladder leaders, the PRK Mendi Muruks going up against the new kids on the block and 2nd placed, Kandes and the 3rd placed Moni Plus NCDC Pom Vipers taking on 4th placed ENB Agmark Gurias for the annual Marum Cup
Challenge.
The first day of the Amazing Round kicks off Saturday 6th June, with three back-to-back matchups; 11:00 AM: PRK Gulf Isou vs Gas Resources Central Dabaris, 1:00 PM: Lae Snax Tigers vs NPL Enga Mioks, 3:00 PM: Kandes RLC vs PRK Mendi Muruks Sunday's program begins with the National Youth Competition’s Under 19 Grand Final before transitioning to the final senior fixtures, 9:00 AM: NYC Grand Final – Central Dabaris U19 Male vs Port Moresby Vipers U19 Male, 11:00 AM: Wamp Nga Mt Hagen Eagles vs Asila Waghi Tumbe, 1:00 PM: Bintangor Goroka Lahanis vs Kroton Hela Wigmen, 3:00 PM: Moni Plus NCDC Pom Vipers vs ENB Agmark Gurias.
PNG NRLC Chairman, Adrian Chow, said Amazing Round continues to showcase the strength and unity of rugby league in Papua New Guinea.

With all six Digicel ExxonMobil Cup matches taking place at one venue, Amazing Round 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest events on the rugby league calendar.
Tickets will be on sale as of the 3rd of June, at Post PNG Outlets; Waterfront, Eliseo Rainbow, Eliseo 9 Mile, Brian Bell Plaza Gordons and Eliseo Boroko and Santos National Football Stadium Ticket Sales office at Boroko and are going for; Eastern Stand - K15, Grand Stand - K30, Corporate Hospitality packages will also be available.
