We would like to sincerely express our heartfelt appreciation to the Kandes Team Management for their generous support towards the Divine Word University Unity Rugby League competition through the donation of 48 tickets to watch the Digicel ExxonMobil Cup 2026, round 6 clash between Kandes and Enga Mioks at RonAlbertOval - Madang.
The 48 tickets were equally distributed amongst the 12 participating clubs, ensuring that every team benefited from the support and encouragement shown by the Kandes organization. Such a thoughtful gesture reflects true sportsmanship, unity, and commitment towards the growth and development of rugby league within the university community.
A special acknowledgment and appreciation also goes to Head Coach Mr. Stanley Tepend for recognizing and supporting the efforts of the DWU Rugby League fraternity. Your continued encouragement and belief in student sports development is truly inspiring and highly valued by all participating teams and the wider DWU community.
The Unity Rugby League competition is more than just a sporting event; it is a platform that promotes teamwork, discipline, leadership, respect, and positive youth engagement.
