Results | Reigning champions Port Moresby Soccer Association women and NCD PSSA women have emerged as the main contenders for women's supremacy while in the men's pool NCD PSSA Gold and Morobe Football Association are likely contenders for the men's title.

Despite happy with the win, PMSA coach Clement Anisan has admitted his side must be more clinical in front of goal.

"We've created probably more chances to score but our finishing off let us done."

“I’m happy with the players’ approach to the game, the first game is always getting over that excitement and anxiety as well and now that it’s done and dusted with a positive result and we can always build up on that,” added Anisan.
