Rugby league history was rewritten across three incredible scorelines , with two coming in 1935 and the latest one arriving yesterday.

🥇 St George 91–6 Canterbury-Bankstown - 1935
The biggest winning margin in premiership history. A staggering 85-point demolition that has stood for more than 90 years.

🥈 Eastern Suburbs (Roosters) 87–7 Canterbury-Bankstown - 1935

Just a week later, Eastern Suburbs produced another historic scoreline, winning by 80 points. Dave Brown was unstoppable, scoring 5 tries and 15 goals.

🥉 Sydney Roosters 82–12 North Queensland Cowboys - 2026
Yesterday, the Roosters stormed into the history books with an 82–12 demolition of the Cowboys — a 70-point victory and the third-highest team score ever recorded in premiership history.

The Roosters’ 48 points in the first half also equalled the most ever scored in a premiership game.
From the legendary teams of 1935 to yesterday’s modern-day demolition, these three scorelines now sit among the greatest blowouts the premiership has ever witnessed.

🔥 SAM WALKER PUTS ON A SHOW! 🐓⭐

Sam Walker was at the heart of the Sydney Roosters historic 82–12 demolition of the North Queensland Cowboys tonight.

The Roosters halfback was involved in everything, finishing with a remarkable 36 points , his biggest individual haul in the NRL.
That’s also the most points scored by a Roosters player since the legendary Dave Brown in 1935, when Brown recorded 38 and 45 points in two separate games.

Walker and James Tedesco combined brilliantly in the opening half, having a hand in four tries and four try assists as the Roosters tore the Cowboys apart.
A 36-point masterclass from Walker on a night when records fell everywhere. 🔥

The Sydney Roosters have produced an absolute slaughter, demolishing the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys 82–12 on Thursday night.

The Roosters’ 76-point haul is the third-highest team score in NRL history and the biggest by any side since 1935.

⭐ Sam Walker was unstoppable, finishing with a stunning 36-point personal haul ,the most by a Roosters player since the legendary Dave Brown scored 38 and 45 points in 1935.

Former SP PNG Hunters player, current London Broncos RL ho**er, PNG LNG Kumuls #323 and PNG Chiefs Pioneer development player 2028 - Finley Glare continues to write his own story. 🔥

Yesterday, Finley turned up once again for the London Broncos, scoring a couple of tries to help his side defeat the Midlands Hurricanes 78–16.

And to top off another outstanding performance, he was named Man of the Match! 🏆👏

From watching and trying out his big brother’s rugby league gear… to now wearing the colours of the London Broncos and representing PNG on the international stage.

| 👤🏉 Bugandi Secondary School U19 TEAM 2 PLAYERS PROFILE

These are the Bugandi Secondary School U19 Team 2 players who became dual winners alongside Lae Secondary School Team 2 after yesterday’s hard-fought 2-2 draw in the Lae Schools Rugby League Competition U19 Secondary Division Grand Final.
The jersey they wore carries a lot of history.

It is the same legendary BCB jersey that some of the players who went on to bigger stages once wore, including Macquine Gabriel (Lae Snax Tigers), Sebastian Benson (Port Moresby Vipers), Junior Thomas (Mendi Muruks), Simon Lau (Lae Snax Tigers), Fabian Siange (Enga Mioks) and many others.

For these boys, yesterday was special. They said it was their last time wearing this legendary jersey and their final photoshoot in it. From next year, they will no longer wear it.
So, this jersey will now rest, carrying with it the memories of the players who wore it before them, and the stories of the boys who wore it one last time as dual winners. 🏉📸

We are keeping these player profiles here because one day, some of these boys could become stars of the future.
And when that day comes, these profiles will be part of their journey a small archive of where it all began.
