We are a local tour operator based in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea who provide a range of land and water based tours, including scuba diving.

Kabaira Dive Rabaul is a locally owned and operated scuba diving and tour company servicing the Rabaul-Kokopo region in East New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea. Vunagam Estate, Baravon on the Rabaul-Kokopo Road, 15 minutes from Kokopo is the launch base of our operations.. We service all hotels and accommodations in the Gazelle Peninsula, and also provide day trips to passengers from visiting

cruise ships. Bookings are essential. There is a wide variety of scuba diving sites we visit - from the historical WW2 ship and plane wrecks, to reef walls, sea mounts and muck diving. Other tours on offer include island trips (to the Pidgeon Islands or Duke of York Islands, amongst others). We also do full-day and half-day historical and site-seeing land tours, and volcano climbs. Kabaira Dive also have operations in the Duke of Yorks Islands, Wotom Island, Lasul Bainings and Dakurele Bay areas

The first week of March was amazing and Challenging having Three big Tourist Ships to East New Britain Province.

Meeting new people, sharing laughters and cruising the harbour was fantastic..

Pidgeon Island the highlight, everyone enjoyed it.. divers met sharks, Corals were beautiful......
Mt Tavurvur and Davapia Stones looks prettier from a distance..

And here we climbed the Famous Mount Tavurvur Volcano in Rabaul. The beginning of 2018 and its a great start for the year.

And yes we are back with much more fun cruising the harbour with the Tourist from Pacific Eden (P&O). Featuring the most beautiful costal reefs at the small Pidgeion Island and the sites all packed with amazing diving spots.
The day was amazing and awesome as Matilda’s family from Cairns gave an extra shot of smile, also the couple from Perth, Australia finally manage to experience the beauty of the sea and the day was unforgettable to all.
