What a perfect coincidence.When a class role plays turned into the real thing.
Yesterday was supposed to be just a role play in class. The topic was a birthday party. But life had other plans because it actually was NIMAL’s birthday.
So the pretend party became real.
You can see it in the photo — NIMAL standing there in the birthday hat, hands clasped, that big genuine smile. The banner says “HAPPY BIRTHDAY,” the balloons are up, and there’s a cake with 25 candles ready to be blown out. His friend stands beside him.
What started as “acting” turned into classmates, becoming friends from friends. Just like the sign on the whiteboard says. The classroom became a celebration space with orange, yellow, and white balloons, a jug of drink, and that Happy Birthday vase of blue flowers.
Best kind of class activity.When you rehearse joy and it shows up for real.
