CRUCIAL WIN OVER THE MINOR PREMIERS

A massive result for Mungkas FC as we take down the competition pacesetters and PMSA 2026 Vodafone Proper Season Minor Premiers, Keleiruna FC.

Full respect to our opponents. They were valiant in defeat — they never gave up and fought to the final whistle. That’s exactly why they sit top of the competition right now.

Their fighting spirit brought the best out of our team. We stayed composed, stuck to the Head Coach’s game plan, and got the job done.

The win sets us up perfectly for the final game of the season against FC Genesis

FANTASTIC DEBUT
We congratulate our Youth player, Iga Steven on a fantastic debut with the PNG Under 16 team last night. An emphatic 4-0 win over Samoa. Iga contributed with an assist and the 4th goal to seal Samoa’s fate.

Our Premier Women’s team went up against one of the in-form teams in the women’s division, Finance FC today.

Fitness let us down at times, but the girls battled and held on for a clean sheet and a point. We’ll take the result and use it to get better together. Work continues.

Massive congratulations to our youth goalkeeper Ricky Hulana on a dream debut for the PNG U19 Men's National Team!

Ricky stood tall in goals during PNG’s big win over Tonga and earned huge wraps from the coaching staff and teammates for his composure and shot-stopping.

The entire Mungkas FC family is incredibly proud of his efforts. To see one of our own represent the country at this level is what it’s all about.

We’re all behind you, Ricky! Next up: host nation Cook Islands. Let’s go!

PROUD MOMENT for MUNGKAS UNDER-19
One of our own, RICKY HULANA, has been selected for the PNG U19 MEN’S NATIONAL TEAM.

Ricky’s story is one of grit. He hails from Rigo, Markham and Manus, and last attended Gabagaba Primary School two years ago, completing Grade 8. Financial hardship stopped him from continuing school, but he turned his focus to football.

He joined our youth team in 2024 and has steadily worked his way up, earning game time in the Premier Division. In 2025 he was also the reserve goalkeeper for our grand final winning side.

This exposure to Oceania football will be huge for Ricky’s development, and we know he’ll bring that experience back to strengthen the team on his return.
