C’est avec une immense fierté que je vous présente notre nouvelle voiture de course rallye-raid Challenger la Odyssey CR-X by BBR.
Avec Kevin Delcros, depuis un an, nous avons travaillé à collecter toutes nos expériences et connaissances de la discipline pour concevoir la meilleure voiture possible. Fort de notre expertise acquise au cours des 4 dernières saisons du W2RC ainsi que nos 3 victoires consécutives sur le Dakar, nous sommes convaincus de proposer à nos pilotes un véhicule capable d’aller chercher de nouvelles victoires .
Sur le plan mécanique , la Odyssey CR-X est équipée d’un moteur Can Am 1.0l 3 cylindre accouplé à une boîte de vitesse 7 rapports DCT Rotax et différentiels Sadev.
Nous avons finalisé ce projet en étroite collaboration avec Century Racing et particulièrement Julien Hardy. Son expérience en termes de carrosserie aérodynamique, dynamique de la voiture et design des trains roulants, sont autant d’atouts pour créer une voiture performante. L’état d’esprit de la CR-X est clairement d’être un mini T1+, c’était donc pour Kevin et moi une évidence d’investir un constructeur de la catégorie Ultimate à notre projet.

Depuis 3 ans, nous avons à cœur de développer les talents de jeunes pilotes pour les préparer au plus haut niveau du rallye-raid. L’ Odyssey CR-X est née avec cette même ambition : offrir aux pilotes une plateforme performante, formatrice et capable de les accompagner jusqu’à la catégorie Ultimate.

Nous avons hâte de voir cette voiture écrire les prochaines pages de son histoire et contribuer à de nouvelles victoires !

It is with great pride that I introduce our new Challenger rally-raid race car: The Odyssey CR-X by BBR.

Over the past year, Kevin Delcros and I have brought together our experience, technical knowledge and understanding of the discipline to create the strongest car we could. Built on the lessons learned across the last four seasons of W2RC, and shaped by three consecutive Dakar victories, the Odyssey CR-X has been developed to give our drivers a competitive and dependable platform at the highest level of rally-raid.

Mechanically, the Odyssey CR-X is powered by the Can-Am 1.0-litre turbocharger three-cylinder engine, paired with a seven-speed Rotax DCT gearbox and Sadev differentials.

The project was completed in close collaboration with Century Racing, and in particular with Julien Hardy. His experience in aerodynamics, bodywork fabrication, vehicle dynamics and suspension design has been a major asset throughout the development process. From the beginning, the intention behind the CR-X was clear: to create a true mini T1+. For Kevin and I, working with a constructor from the Ultimate category was the right step to bring that vision to life.

For the past three years, we have been committed to identifying and developing young talents, helping prepare them for the demands of top-level rally-raid. The Odyssey CR-X was created with that same purpose: to give drivers a high-performance, professional platform on which to learn, progress and build toward the Ultimate category.

We are looking forward to seeing the Odyssey CR-X begin its journey in competition and become part of the next chapter of BBR’s rally-raid story.
