And just like that, our 2026 season comes to an end.

Our Senior A went down 30–40 to St Mary’s A in the grand final. After an incredible season, our girls can hold their heads high. To reach the grand final and go head to head with the all time champions, St Mary’s, was an achievement in itself, and we couldn’t be prouder of the fight, determination and belief they showed right through to the final whistle.

Our Senior B also battled hard, going down 23–27 to Riversdale in their final. A huge congratulations to Abby Morton, who was named Riversdale vs Wyndham Player of the Finals.

A HUGE thank you to our supporters who turned out in numbers and got behind both of our teams. A special mention to the Wyndham Rugby community. There were blue and white Jubilee jerseys everywhere we looked. It was pretty special to see our wee town rally behind our girls, and we are incredibly proud to come from such a supportive community.

To our girls, coaches and managers, thank you for giving everything. For the laughs, the tough trainings, the nerves, the celebrations, the setbacks and the countless hours spent together. What a season.

We may not be bringing home the silverware this year, but we finish the season incredibly proud to be from Wyndham Netball Club.

🏐 FINALS DAY – A NOTE FOR OUR SUPPORTERS 💙🤍

We’ve received the following bench and sideline protocols from the Netball Eastern Southland Committee that applies to the Wyndham A game.

There will be 12 seats provided for each team, which are reserved for team players and officials only. Only those named on the official team sheet will be permitted courtside by the team benches.

We kindly ask all of our amazing supporters, whānau and tamariki to please remain away from the team benches and official score bench on the ground. As all 1st & 2nd finals are being played on Court 1, the committee has asked that spectators and supporters make use of the grandstand.

We know how much our supporters love being close to the action, but we ask everyone to please respect these protocols so our girls can have the best possible environment to focus on the big game.

Once the games are done, we’d love to have you all join us back at the Wyndham Rugby Club at 7:30pm to celebrate the season with our teams.

We did it!! We made it to the big dance 😭🤍💙

Congratulations to both of our senior netball teams for winning their semi finals games , both very hard and intense games with only a few points in it.

So super grateful to all of our supporters for showing up today, we heard every single one of you in the stands. Appreciate you all so much!

Our Finals will be held at the Gore sports complex, Saturday 15th August. More details to come.
