Jedburgh track will be open Monday from lunchtime onwards and Tuesday, track will be deep ripped and should become rutty ideal final prep for those heading to jr nats

Only 2 sleeps until our club day. We are looking to seeing you all there. Remember sign on is from 8am. Please bring the correct amount of monies. There’s no eftpos. Once everyone is signed we will sort classes and then have a briefing which we will call over the speaker.

Camping is available at the track the night before.
Please message club if your camping. We will have a coffee car and BBQ sizzle on the day.

If you’re new and or coming along to have a go, it’s important you have the correct safety gear to ride in. You can find suitable requirements in the MNZ manual, see link below. We will also have club reps floating around on Sunday that you can talk to if you have any questions.

We will also have half price track keys available to purchase on the day. These are valid from now until the track key rolls over at the end of June.

Shepherd/General position - Jedburgh Station
Sheep and beef stockman required.
The position involves an active role in the management of all aspects of livestock and general maintenance.

Jedburgh also entertains good hunting and fishing, Wyndham Dog Trial Club and the Jedburgh MX Track. At Jedburgh Station we are supportive of all sports and ongoing job up skilling.

Jedburgh Station is located in the Venlaw Valley, 16kms north east of Wyndham Eastern Southland, 25min from Gore, 45min from Invercargill, 50min from Balcutha.

Wyndham also boasts bowls, badminton, squash, netball, cricket, Wyndham R.F.C rugby, dog trial, golf clubs, Wyndham Young Farmers Club , three churches and a quite pub.

Jedburgh is a 3500ha property with 1850ha effective, development is on going.
Jedburgh runs:
- 2500 Replacement hogget’s
- 10000 Breeding ewes. (Romney /Texel)
- 350 In calf cows (Angus base)
Targeting the finishing of all stock.

The position requires:
A person, who is passionate and wanting to develop their career in agriculture,Excellent commutation skills, record keeping, stock tallies and maintenance requirements.A person, who enjoys working, has a sense of humor and is a team player, has a team of dogs or wants to develop a team.

Tracks had a tidy up we are doing couple of twilight practice/ rides Monday and Tuesday before school goes back for those keen, 4pm onwards.
And to the rider that rode the track backwards DON'T DO IT AGAIN !!!
