🤸‍♀️ Regional CSG Competition – Proud Day for Woodend Gymnastics Club! 🤸‍♀️

A huge well done to Josie, Peyton and Cora, who represented Woodend Gymnastics Club at today's Regional CSG Competition! Josie competed in Silver, with Peyton and Cora competing in Bronze. 💙

Regional gymnasts generally train at least twice a week, while our recreational gymnasts train once a week for 1 hour 45 minutes. The results our girls achieve at this level are a real reflection of their hard work, dedication and determination in the time they have. 💪

Today was about personal challenges, building confidence and having the courage to step out onto the competition floor and give it their best. Each of the girls had things they wanted to work on and challenges to overcome, and we are incredibly proud of how they handled themselves.

Every competition brings new experiences — different equipment, different surroundings, managing nerves and learning to keep going when things don't go exactly to plan. ❤️

Well done Josie, Peyton and Cora! You represented Woodend beautifully, challenged yourselves and should be very proud of what you achieved today. 🤸‍♀️💕👏

🤸‍♀️🎉 Congratulations to our Woodend Gymnastics Club gymnasts! 🎉🤸‍♀️

A huge congratulations to Cora, Peyton, Emmy and Adaline, who represented Woodend Gymnastics Club at the Ashburton Gymnastics Club Competition on Sunday. We are incredibly proud of all four girls! 💕

🥉 Bronze – Cora & Peyton

🌟 Cora placed an amazing 6th Overall and 3rd on Beam! This result reflects all the hard work Cora has put into developing her skills since moving into Bronze at the beginning of the year. It has been wonderful to watch her progress and see that hard work showing in competition.

🌟 Peyton had a fantastic competition too, achieving 4th place on Vault! A great result and something to be very proud of.

⭐ Iron – Emmy & Adalyne

This competition was an extra-special milestone for Emmy and Adaline, as it was their first time presenting their Iron routines outside Woodend Gymnastics Club. Emmy received a special sports award certificate and a chocolate; one of the judges recognised her dedication to gymnastics.

Competing away from your home gym brings a whole new challenge. The equipment feels different, the surroundings are unfamiliar, and suddenly you're performing your routines in front of a whole new audience!

Both girls rose beautifully to the challenge and presented good, confident routines. This was a fantastic first away competition for them and an experience they can build on for the future.

Most importantly, we are proud of the way all four girls represented Woodend Gymnastics Club. ❤️

Well done Cora, Peyton, Emmy and Adalyne — you should be very proud of yourselves!🤸‍♀️🏅👏

And a big thank you to Ashburton Gymnastics Club for welcoming us and putting on such a lovely competition. 💕

Well done everyone who attended the Best of the West Competition on the weekend, our club is always complimented for good sportsmanship, good routines and good gymnastics :) Cora and Peyton were trying out their new Bronze routines and our new senior leotards, Ceci, Sophie and Emmy rocked Grade 2, and wee Indie was very brave all by herself representing WGC for Gym Fun. This was one the biggest comps as most clubs this end of NZ attended. Their grades were earned. Love the rock star pose you go Indie!
