2026 DANCE IT OUT WINTON EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

A little bit about Dance It Out Studio. They are located in Gore and also hold classes in Edendale. We offer the Urban Ignition syllabus to students who wish to work towards and sit a dance exam through APDA and we also have dance classes for students to just come along, learn some dance styles, make some new friends and Dance It Out in a friendly, safe and encouraging environment. Nikoia has been teaching Dance for just over 8yrs and is also a multi award winning choreographer.

Delayed post as it’s been a busy couple of weeks but HHU NZ Schools Comp in Dunedin was our last big comp for CA crews and we had such an epic day 🔥🫶

Endless hours go into competitions from the dancers, coaches, studio managers and owners and the organisers - they are a heck of a lot of work but so worth it 😍 the feeling you get when you take the stage as a dancer, the proud tears in the back of your eyes as a coach when you watch and think how far your students have come. These are the moments that make dance such a special sport and art. And the connections you build 💞 Thankful for the relationships we have built within our CA Whānau and with other dance schools across Southland and Otago - so much aroha 🫶

6 Years of comps for CA! Finished with some great results and although I mean it when I tell the students that the results aren’t what stay with you years later, it’s still nice for our kids to go home after their last comp with some medals around their necks 🏅 Super proud!

Wellington one weekend, Christchurch the next! CA has had a big couple of weeks of comps and so much learning and fun in the process 🔥💃🏽

TwinNation Duo attended and placed 4th in Adult duos choreographed by 🔥 the duo became a trio for and TriNation placed first 🥇 Qualifying them to attend the finals of ADCC in Sydney up against other international teams from qualifiers around the world 🌎🤩 So excited to see representing us and NZ later this year - watch this space!!

placed 3rd in Open Solo Division 🥉 - We are SO proud of Kenzie as our teacher and long time student for this result and still waiting to hear scores and qualification results for solos 🔥

Our crews and other trios all danced the BEST we have seen them and enjoyed the experience of competing against worlds level teams from all over the South Island and learning in workshops from some of Christchurch’s top choreographers 🔥🥰

An incredible few weekends of dance! Bring on Term 3 including performing at the Steel Game next Monday and our End of an Era show end of August 💞
