Well It's been a while since we have been in the water. After a season off as the engine destroyed its self a second time (and the engine builder didn't even give a s**t) we were pretty disappointed to be fair. However the good news is we are rebuilding at this time. Will keep you informed as we go and hope to do some runs in November 2018.

Round three sees a long drive for boats and crews down the East Coast to Gisborne. With the first two races experiencing relative calm conditions, the race is notorious for rough big sea swells.

Safe to say it was a great weekend away for the last race of the season. Thank you so much to all our team, who constantly spend hours working on the boat. Thank you to our lovely ladies who prepare all the food and do the booze run for us. We didn't place, but we sure did have a lot of fun! Also thank you so much to Terry Fletcher who kindly paid for our meals without us knowing. Thanks to everyone who has sent us photos or videos and who continues to support us. We are glad to hear the two guys whose boat flipped, are doing okay. We wish them all the best and a speedy recovery. See you all next season, if not at the AGM. ~Outlaw team 😎🚤 Ps: Happy Mother's Day 💞

Went testing props and adding/shifting weight around in the boat (no not the over weight crew members lol) at Eastern Beach on Sunday. We had a miss in the rebuilt engine and it was running off-song however we did gain some speed. Found no compression on #1 & only 50lb on #6. Think the valve springs are the problem as some are compressed by up to 6mm. Look out Whitianga this weekend we may be at the front for a change! Thanks Grant Rowe, Tony Marsh & Harry Potter for your help today boys.
