Join owner/skipper Mike Hanham on Hootenanny, for fishing and diving around the Mercury Islands. On the water there is also the Te Whanganui-a-hei (Cathedral Cove) Marine Reserve. We have special fishing/diving packages and also ocean to plate experiences. We offer charters to Cuvier Island, Slipper Island, Mercury Island, Alderman Island, Cathedral Cove and wherever YOU like to go.

Opened the fridge this morning and thought.....what have I got to make a salad thats enough for a fisherman for lunch???? This is easy, healthy, ticks the nutritional requirements and is accepted by the recipient 😁😁😁

The base is finely chopped spinach (out of my cousins garden), cabbage (from mikes mums) and rice. Topped with chopped tomatoes, broccoli, cucumber and pickles, turmeric sauerkraut, corn kernels, grated carrot, boiled egg, onions, avocado, cottage cheese and diced celery. Then lightly splashed with sesame dressing.
