Graduation night for our latest group of new PADI Speciality Dive Instructors as we celebrated them all achieving the Diploma in Professional Scuba Instruction. A lovely evening spent celebrating with their families and Dive Zone Whitianga crew.
We look forward to hearing where this internationally recognized qualification takes them in the world and are so very proud of them all.
We also celebrated two of our staff's new achievement with Tony achieving his PADI Master Instructor rating and Bri achieving her PADI Staff Instructor ratings.

Top 10 tips if you haven't been diving for a while.
1. Get your gear serviced or checked.
2. Assess the conditions.
3. Have an emergency plan.
4. Plan your dive.
5. Have a buddy and do a pre-dive safety check.
6. Don't use too much weight.
7. Defog your mask.
8. Know your limits.
9. Have fun.
10. Put your dust cap back in after your dive.

Every now and then the ocean will throw an awesome surprise at you. We certainly didn't expect to turn a corner and find this turtle cruzing the reef 2 days before the New Zealand winter 🐢 Turtely awesome.
