Anzac Enduro - glamour weather and organising with beach 🏖️ bbq and prize giving 👌🏻

Managed to get the win 🥇 in a small but quality fleet for the Shorthanded Sailing Association of New Zealand Anzac Enduro. Glamour sailing conditions and an even better post race BBQ and prize giving in beautiful Chamberlins bay on Ponui Island. Thanks to the race committee for an awesome event.

Thats a wrap for the Shorthanded Sailing Association of New Zealand race with prize giving at Royal Akarana Yacht Club

Really great result for us with 3rd overall on corrected time and 3rd Div 3.Also collected the trophy for 🥇 on handicap for second time around otherwise known as the “Slow Learners” award.🤣 Felt better when we saw the previous winners !

Trophies are really historical and these trophies date back to the first race in 1977 which was founded by Martin Foster and Sir Peter Blake out of Devonport Yacht Club

Each entrant also received a copy of the official hard cover race book which is an amazing record of a fabulous event put together by the committee with great photos from Suellen Hurling and Live Sail Die

Thanks to all the race committee for a awesome and professionally run event and co-skipper Logan Fraser always a pleasure to sail with you mate 🤟🏻👍🏻
