F**k. First season done and dusted!

What a season it’s been — learning the car, understanding its temperaments, and trying to get on top of the nerves (not easy… I was sh****ng myself every race 😅).

The last race of the season was a tough one. The car wasn’t quite with me — had a few issues, went up the bank and spun out, and then ran into overheating problems with the fans not working. I tried to stay in it, but lost oil pressure near the end. Still, I held on and managed to finish.

It was the biggest field I’ve raced in all season, and the drivers were seriously good. I learned a lot from them and hope to step it up next season and push further up the field. This year wasn’t about winning — it was about learning the car as much as I could.

I’ve been bumped, flipped over top of and dealt with engine and steering problems — but honestly, it’s been pretty entertaining. I reckon I’ve put on a bit of a show most race meets! No matter what, I kept getting back in the old girl and pushing on. I’ve done my best to keep her in one piece and improve every time I hit the track.

Huge thanks to the other saloon drivers — you’ve all been awesome with tips and advice throughout the season. I’ll get up there with you all one day… just takes time.
Especially Richard Nawisielski and Kaye for the constant support encouragment and new found friendship, always a good time to race with you!

My pit crew — absolutely unreal. Simon Haines , Neli Didit , Emma Rylie , Sky Pihama — you’ve been there since the start of the season and we’ve got plenty more ahead. The dedication you have to this car is next level. You make me proud and keep me going through all the body-bashing action.

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing team backing us up. Simon is learning the car as enthusiastically as I am, doing an awesome job with it. Neli is capturing incredible photos (Indica photography) and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty—she’s definitely getting there! Last race of day got a second...stayed in my line and wasnt going to move...done the best i could, its a small track and dixon and blair a good drivers. Very competive.... experience shows it..... i did my best with what i had and was good but alot of improvement is needed
I need to be less afraid to send the corners and drive a bit more to the track but learning is the main reason... im not there to win anything its just seat time for me and supposed to be a bit of weekend fun....

First start to the day at dargavile was a bit of a downer had no battery power alternator decided to give up, didnt make the race so this was second race had a few bumps from dixon but its all apart of racing...
Car just lost all power and cut off so couldnt finish, wasnt going to make it worse so held in the in field... was lucky to get out again nigel and his team were awesome to lone me the battery and get me out there again today

Was not in the game in this race the guys were fast they shot a head i had couple issues flat on acceleration, oil pi**ed out everywhere . this was first race no place or fith but im ok with that season is to learn the car

Had nice little battle with with richard for forth track was not plesand at this time big ruts and holes wasnt going to hurt my self or car made right decicion can race dargavelle tomorrow

Race 2 was better race of day managed a 3rd by holding off dixon awsome driver. Thught he ha me couple time but i held on just i was with tallented drivers and the showed it . I had oil pi***ng every where but out covers got that fixed
