Whangarei Hash House Harriers Welcome the the Hash House Harriers fan page for the Whangarei chapter. Click here to see more details. We run every Tuesday at approx 6:10pm.

Hash House Harriers (abbreviated to HHH, H3, or referred to simply as hashing) is an international group of non-competitive running, social clubs. An event organized is known as a hash or hash run, with participants calling themselves hashers or hares and hounds. Details of the run will be posted on the page in the days before and also emailed around the members. After each run we have an

'ON ON'. This includes a meal, drinks and a good ole time. We will have the 'ON ON' at a pub, tavern, restaurant etc or alternatively if the run set from the Hares residence or designated location, we may have the ON ON there in the form of a BBQ, pot luck or a HASH MASH etc.. Most summer runs/ON ON's are from great random locations where we can have a BBQ or swim afterwards. See you all there

Thanks to T***y & Pricky for hosting her 999 run. Started off with mulled w**e to warm the cockles. 6 runners & 8 walkers met up at Pricky’s work for a p**s stop. 4k for the walkers and 8 k for the runners on another fine evening. Most stayed and enjoyed another fine meal and more mulled w**e.

“Last weeks Hash run from the KT Hare - Dutch Rudder sent

5 walkers for a bewildering 4km walk around Kensington Park.

The 6 fast paced runners went for a run down to the town basin along the stunning Hatea bush track to Whareora Rd then on home to the KT. 6km for the trail runners and Floater being the front runner she did 8km making sure the trail runners weren't lost in the bush...

No p**s stops

Some hills

No false trails...

Gathering of walkers and runners bang on the money...

Run rated as awesome.. although I’m rating it...

Another great meal at the KT...”

Hi Hashers

Thanks to the 4 runners & 7 walkers for attending our evening of comradery. After a short walk, due to 3 hashers with injuries, we arrived back at the OnOn at the same time as the 4 runners after their 7km run. A BBQ meal was enjoyed followed by a desert from Motherlode. Despite missing the religious instructor for a few weeks, she has managed to produce dry outings in between the rain, well done.

Thanks to Omanpenny & Joy Stick for setting the run at Onerahi. 5 runners & 9 walkers enjoyed a p**s stop with drink and nibbles on another fine evening out and about. Floaters Mum was named Double Flush (Floater is a twin) after 5 appearances.

Rated a solid 2 by everyone. Most also enjoyed a lovely meal at Indian Feast.

Yours truly didn’t get away with my new shoes thanks to eagle eye Old Bitch… opps, I mean Fizz Bitch. We were given a private room for dinner at Dickens and enjoyed a great meal.

Thanks to Motherlode for hosting the run-walk. Another great evening to celebrate her 333 run. 7 runners and 8 walkers got off the couch and maintained their fitness. We even had another virgin join our midst. We officially named our latest virgin “Floater”. Both Floaters parents (yet to be named) have now joined us, probably checking how their innocent daughter is being corrupted by the Hash Group. It’s good to convert another one to the wild side. We all enjoyed great company and another lovely desert thanks to Motherlode.

Hi Hashers

Thanks to Big Horn for setting the run-walk last week. 6 runners & 8 Walkers enjoyed another beautiful winter evening strolling around the Kensington area. We followed chalk arrows and shredded paper, just like the old days.

Rated a solid 2, even without a p**s Stop. We acknowledge the 77th birthday with the usual song and welcomed another virgin to the HHH. All those who attended were given a badge for the occasion. Big Horns actual Birthday (77) and his 222 run.
